It's sunny and cold a gorgeous here so I'm sat in a coffee shop halfway on a lovely walk.
Off home soon to cook a roast beef dinner and read the paper.
Will light the log burner and pour some and pretend tomorrow isn't Monday

5°C here and sunny and I am stuck in isolation until my get out of jail test on the 30th.
Luckily the room I am confined to has all my books, my work PC and my craft materials, so I am fine.
No idea what the rest is up to.

In lockdown
Ds just been out for his first proper play in snow ( he was too young last winter).
Warming up now with tea
Dh pulling down old crappy fake ceiling in kitchen, so dust galore. No idea what we are doing for lunch. Probably beans on toast type thing.
Afternoon hope to find Christmas lights in loft, Ds nap, clean up dust pile. Maybe casual film on.

Going out for a joint birthday lunch with a friend 😊

DH, DD and DS are all out playing/coaching kids football. It's flipping freezing out.

I am sat on the sofa with a blanket round my legs. Enjoying my coffee and the silence. Oh the silence!

I'm having a maccy D breakfast, I've never had one before. Later I'm going to read my book so I'll lose a few hours in that, then out for a meal tonight
It makes Sunday a day to look forward to
Sunday is the new Saturday in our house

I haven't cooked anything of substance for weeks, as I think maybe I've been feeling a bit down.
So a nice change.

Debating with myself whether to put the tree up or not... then thinking about untangling the lights and thinking it's still to early, maybe next weekend.

I’m a serious temperature wimp so I’m definitely not going anywhere. PJs and my heated throw for me, we’ll be setting down to watch the darts this afternoon and this evening

Recovering from covid booster. Nice big bullseye 🎯 on my arm. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

DP was up early to finish off painting the living room, just in time for our Christmas decorations to go up!

I am pottering about getting some washing and housework done this morning, then this afternoon we are baking some Christmas cookies & putting the tree up with the kids and will be having a roast for dinner. Probably watch a Christmas film too. Feeling festive after our day out at the market yesterday and waking up to some snow today 🎄❄️

Staying in today, snow forecast in the afternoon. Just cooking lunch, uniform ironing done. Dinner prep will be later. Going to shower later than put on a feel good film to relax.

Washing in, roast chicken dinner prepped, will walk the cat this afternoon now most of the snow gone.

In bed with bastarding covid.

Hopefully will compromise on getting some Christmas bits and bobs and some fairy lights up

One DD is isolating.
The other is playing an online game with dh.
I've made a microwave mug cake.
I have a book to read but don't feel able to concentrate so I'm on here instead!

DC was kind to us this morning and woke up later than usual after a rare full nights sleep so we had a lie in. Just had brunch, I made shakshuka which was yummy. Now playing with DC and me and DH will go watch a movie whilst a family member looks after DC for us later. We might go for dinner after the movie before coming home. Yesterday was the most boring day ever so today seems nice in contrast

I've been awake half the night. Power cut woke me as our alarm rang my phone and my watch vibrated me awake. Been for my booster vaccination and currently warming up in a lovely Turkish cafe with large coffee and breakfast on order. Knackered!

I tested positive on the 18th - and had my "quarantine until the 30th, when you can test out" call/mail from authorities. I have been perfectly fine since Friday and am way behind with my Christmas baking - we have run out of cookies!!!! And DH gives me healthy!!!! food.

Can't even boil the kettle at home...

It's freezing here in Yorkshire so we're togged up warm and off to do some Christmas shopping. There'll definitely be a hot chocolate involved. And maybe a trip to the Santa's grotto in the garden centre.

I'm not doing a roast, never do when it's so close to Christmas, so it's beef stew in the slow cooker with a baked dumpling for tea tonight.

Theres a light snow. So kids might go out and play in a bit. But just keeping warm today

Have no plans to go out today - staying indoors in the warmth!

Woke up late and have spent the morning lazy around really, so will get up properly in a moment and start on some chores to get them out of the way.

Plan to then read my new book, watch one of those crappy Christmas films on channel 5, and I'm making a chicken bacon and leek pie for tea tonight which we're looking forward to.

Been to the gym this morning - came home to find everyone else watching tv in PJs and 3 year old DS had emptied toys all over the floor. Standard morning so far!

I’ve made poached eggs with avocado for brunch and now will put a stew in the slow cooker before encouraging the coach potatoes to come a quick cold walk in the woods!

Later, wood burner will be on and wine will no doubt be had!
