It's sunny and cold a gorgeous here so I'm sat in a coffee shop halfway on a lovely walk.
Off home soon to cook a roast beef dinner and read the paper.
Will light the log burner and pour some and pretend tomorrow isn't Monday

Had plans to do the food shop today, but lots of snow and road hasn't been gritted, so that plan is out the window! Probably watch a movie later.

Home now and time to start dinner prep and make a casserole for dinner later in the week
Going to make apple crumble for pudding
Today seems like a comfort food kind of day

So far I have spent most of the morning telling DCat off for trying to eat the Christmas tree, picked up the baubles he's batted off his own Christmas tree and cooked breakfast. Need to go out and clear my car off soon as I'm working this afternoon, although I'm debating on leaving the car at home and seeing if some of my calls can be taken off me so I can walk to the ones that are closer. I'm not even meant to be working I'm helping them out yet again. I was hoping After seeing everyone else's drives I could use the excuse of my car was blocked in. No my drive behind my car is perfectly clear

Our Sundays are pretty samey - DS does a hobby in the mornings and another in the afternoons so we always do hobby 1 then go to a cafe for lunch, then hobby 2 and a food shop for the week afterwards. Get back home around 4.30 and chill for the evening.

Hobby 2 is outdoors so I'll be standing around freezing my bum off!

It’s freezing here, all yesterdays snow has frozen solid and it’s snowing more now and due to continue all afternoon so my planned gym session is off.

DSD is having her guitar lesson online instead of in person so we’re all listening to her learning Hotel California in the living room and I’m having a nice coffee. No idea how she’ll be getting back to her mums later but will probably end up being my job as my car is an all wheel drive.

Although this thread has reminded me I’ve done no Christmas baking so I might do that with DSD next weekend while DH is at football.

Hot chocolate and Christmas shopping in the snow. That's a pretty perfect result.

Don't be. I've had to clear tracks on the drive to get my car up. Leaving it on the road not an option as busy A road and 40mph zone. Still no power so I'm in bed to keep warm.

Had a cooked breakfast to help my hangover and now currently watching the football
Washing, ironing and housework later while dh and ds are going back out to do more work.
Might put the Xmas tunes on!
Also no idea what's for dinner.... inspiration has escaped me today.

Yes cleared and gritted sloped driveway here also from snow. Kitchen fitted won’t get up to the house tomorrow otherwise.

I've been for my booster jab , currently sat watching the snow fall heavily , with a nice cup of tea .

Cooking a roast and banana bread whilst DS plays Monopoly with his nan and his two mates from down the road… it’s noisy and chaotic so I’m glad to be in the kitchen 🤣

We have finally got round to hanging a gallery wall in the dining room. We have all had covid and youngest DD last to be released from isolation today so she is very happy. Have got a chicken in the oven and just put my roast potatoes in.

Had a very late night at a friend's house last night so we are all tired today. Had a lazy-ish morning then went over to my parents with DS2 for a cup of tea and a chat. Dropped DS2 home then went out and got McDonald's for everyone for lunch, which DSs are still eating.

Need to take DDog for a walk this afternoon but he's dozing in front of the radiator at the moment so I'll wait until he's looking a bit livelier. DH watching football. I should do some work and then put up the Christmas tree but I've got a headache so I'm going to stay on the sofa and enjoy what's left of the weekend. Might paint my nails later. Got my flu jab tomorrow.

We've been out building castles in the snow with a bucket and spade, just come in for hot chocolate. Toddler is now playing with the dog and we're putting the tree up later.

Tidied the wardrobe
Fake tanned (have a wedding tomorrow or i wouldn’t bother)
Went for a lovely walk around the village
Now just chilling out with a movie before I do the laundry and the kids baths.

Watching the snow while DD watches David Williams adaptations in CBBC.

May or may not be wearing a Christmas jumper with a small glass of salted caramel baileys next to me!

Took the mutts out for an early morning run around the golf course. Blitzing the house this afternoon and baking something, fancy some scones I think.

Lovely long countryside walk this morning, DC (and DH) are playing computer games now we're back. Feeling smug that we timed everything right as it was freezing this morning but beautiful, and is now currently snowing whilst I'm at home with a spag bol cooking and apple pie ready to go in the oven. Movie later with the kids and I have some wine left which will definitely be drank

You're welcome to it. It is 1 degree here and has been snowing most of the day. We still had snow left over from Friday night/Saturday because it froze hard last night. Going down to -3 tonight.

I WFH now so I don't have to worry about tomorrow's commute.

I'm conducting an experiment to see how many cheese savouries I can eat before feeling sick.

Walked into town, did a bit of shopping at the Christmas market, bumped into friends so stopped for a mulled wine, walked home now having a couple of hours on the couch before going to a friends' for dinner
