It's sunny and cold a gorgeous here so I'm sat in a coffee shop halfway on a lovely walk.
Off home soon to cook a roast beef dinner and read the paper.
Will light the log burner and pour some and pretend tomorrow isn't Monday

Ran a half marathon, quick lunch, drop DC off ar a football game and i went to M&S to pick up a gift, and them more o less finish my Christmas shopping.

I don’t buy much so im pretty much done. I gave a feeling we’ll be back in lockdown. Like wales did last year, few days before Christmas.

I'm having a maccy D breakfast, I've never had one before. Later I'm going to read my book so I'll lose a few hours in that, then out for a meal tonight It makes Sunday a day to look forward to Sunday is the new Saturday in our house

We have a bit of snow,its sunny but cold. We have no heating so house is freezing. Went to shops to get us all cosy socks;fingerless gloves and hot chocolate to warm us up!

No snow here, but was -2 until 1pm which felt like -8, which was close enough.

Did the dog walk, came home and had a bath to warm up, mopped the kitchen floor.

Laundry ongoing. Tomorrow planned. Taking an hour out to sew now before I start roasting a chicken.

DD is testing a vegan biscuit recipe, DS2 is going to make crumble for pudding later.

Thick snow now, and juts put the Christmas lights around the front garden so it looks bloody lovely and festive! 2yo is ecstatic!!

Beef stew and dumplings nearly ready for tea.

We had a lovely lunch at home and then went for a long walk. Lovely weather this afternoon.

The snow is really heavy here, so I've spent the morning cuddling 2 month old DD in front of the TV and watching crap telly, managed to get a bit of washing and cleaning done. When DH got out of bed (he's working nights) we went for a mooch round the shops to get a few bits we needed and came home, now going to snuggle in front of the telly, get the baby bathed and settled and watch a christmas movie with hot chocolates 🥰

Walked the dog, froze.
Took DCs out to throw a rugby ball around, warmed up a bit but froze quickly afterwards walking home.
Walked dog again, froze.
Now charging the car at the shell station, have to keep turning the heat on or I will freeze again!

We're having a lazy day here as DP and I are both feeling a bit lethargic , possibly due to our booster vaccination on Friday.

Entertainment has been provided by seeing 17yo DS suffering with his first hangover. Hopefully a lesson learned !

Went for a run first thing, then the supermarket, then the dump, since then I've been sorting boxes of crap that my kids collect ... I'm thinking about wine.

Got up early to a gorgeous sunrise, met friends for an icy dip in the sea then had porridge in wetherspoons and loads of coffee.
Spent an hour or so decluttering the attic, ordered 3 lovely Christmas dresses for the granddaughters, done the washing and having chicken pie for tea.

Stuck in the house with two coughing children. One has Covid, the other doesn't! The non Covid child has been off school for a week and had multiple negative tests, including a PCR (testing again tomorrow though). The child with covid has been coughing since Friday. I'm going mad here with the barking in stereo! And also slightly worried about my13 year old's cough as everyone else his age seemed to have no symptoms.

Have been staying with DBro and DSIL, had a lovely but muddy walk to a neighbouring village this morning, it did snow a bit. Spent money at a craft fair, back to theirs for lunch, helped put an IKEA armchair together which DSIL then said she hated . . Now on third train of complicated journey home.

I'm at work, as usual. It started snowing here this afternoon and I drove back in the snow. Very pretty but I'm tired and I have to go in again tomorrow....

Thanks @Indecisivelurcher it was amazing! Lamb kleftico was from our local butcher's just a raw lamb shank and they put the sauce on it for you. I just put it in the slow cooker on low all day, meat just fell off the bone. I really wanted a glass of red with it but alas I have house admin to do tonight and didn't want to be fuzzy headed!
