90s teen/40th memories box

Hello,

My sister is 40 in December and I want to do a memory box of her teenage years..

I'm 4 years young and remember some things she liked such as music and smash hits magazine (!) Which I'm sourcing on the Internet.

If you were born early 80s and a teen in the 90s, can you please jog my memory of what you liked and were into please? 😁

I’m 44 so not sure how helpful this will be but:
Magazines: Mizz and More (including position of the fortnight even though we were all 14)
Toys: Tamagotchi
Clothes: chokers that looked like tattoos, velvet blazers, DM boots, retro Adidas zip up tracksuit tops, low cut flared trousers
Shops: river island (Chelsea girl? She might be a bit young), pilot, Karen Millen, miss selfridge
Music: spice girls, Brit pop, grunge
TV: friends, big brother (early 00s maybe?), all the soaps, especially neighbours and home and away

@inkworks273 I remember the bath pearls. Usually in a transparent triangular box? I used to not use them, and ‘save’ for a special occasion. I can still feel how they go all soft in the water!b

Name necklace / bracelet (those little white letter beads on a black cord)
Stuff with smileys on (jewellery / t-shirt etc)
Stuff with aliens on. Aliens were huge in the 90s. Those skinny ones with big heads
Framed photo of her favourite teen band? (Eg Take That, East 17, Backstreet Boys, Bad Boys Inc, PJ & Duncan - I liked the boy bands ...)

Package it all in one of those little mini rucksacks!

OMG, those things were lethal. I used to go to a dive of a club that sold these for £1 and shots for 50p before midnight, me and my friend would get 10 shots of vodka with 5 alcopops as mixers for £10 and then stagger home for an afterparty.
