What name did your DH come up with for your babies that you hated?

DH wanted to call our first DD Charlie.

SO many lovely girls' names and he comes up with that.

Sorry if your is called that...it's nice enough I suppose but it's just not something I'd choose for a girl.

Bruce for a boy.

My DH comes from a family where they do the same with names. First boy has the grandfather’s name. DH is luckily the second boy so I was able to veto that suggestion without causing a family rift. He wanted his dad’s name for the middle name for our hypothetical boy but I wanted my grandad’s name. Neither of us liked the other name.

My DH’s name list for girls is basically the class register from 1994 (Jessica, Chloe, Sarah, Rachel, Rebecca, Emma, Natalie). The names are fine but I just associate them with people I went to school with (some I liked, others I’m sure are nice people now 😂). Luckily we’re having a boy!

Mine too. He was very sold on Sarah, but there were about 11 of them in my class and 50% of them used to bully me!

Wanting to call him after some random friend who he doesn't even see any more years later. I said no.

Liberty or Scarlett would have been ok - not to my taste but ok - but the rest are awful! Were these hormone induced name choices?

DH wanted the name of a character from Warhammer.

Luckily there are many characters in Warhammer and DS has a normal name which does have a tenuous link.

Nice enough names, BUT, no one in our family has that name! So he was not honoring or remembering anyone. Not even a friend or a pet!

Dh really wanted to name dd Delilah and ds Nickolai.

We are English born and raised in England so Nickolai was definitely out and sorry but I really did not like Delilah.
