Not just that, but Gaga has followed the template that Madonna set years ago and has more or less surpassed her. Madonna could only dream of being nominated for an Oscar for her acting. I think she's feeling a very real pressure to come up with something new and exciting and is instead falling back on what she's always done.

Gaga is open and I suspect mostly honest, Madonna has a huge wall about her so you never see the real her. She is always playing people, provoking a reaction without giving anything back. People have wised up.

I loved her back in the day but now it looks like she hasn't realised her 80's and 90's antics no longer shock or work.

The marvellous thing about Madonna is that she gives zero fucks - and always has - about what other people think. You may not like how she looks, but she does. Good for her I say. Not everyone has to "age gracefully.

If she cared as little as you seem to believe she wouldn't be going to ridiculous lengths to try to make herself look younger, and it shows that she doesn't think what she has achieved in the past is enough. I imagine very few people will take her seriously now, whereas if she had the courage to "age gracefully" more people would.

Kate Bush is the same age and looks as beautiful, warm and lovely as ever.

Older women can age how the hell they want. They don't have to do it in a way that you approve of.

Now I've seen the unfiltered image a PP posted I can see it's totally the filters that are making her look different and like a Kardashian (as it's the same technique). She's also had work too of course.

In the last few years of Love Island I've always been shocked at how ordinary many of the female contestants look compared to their Instagram photos, particularly Molly Mae Hague.

My theory is they drop on the floor, I don’t notice because my eyesight isn’t what it once was, and then they get kicked under the bed as I’m walking, never to be seen again. I do know for a fact that my arse clad in Sainsbury’s full briefs wouldn’t look like hers.

It was a brilliant time and unless you were there n the middle of it you have no idea what a total star and phenomenon she was.

It's so obvious in the photo on the left it's been photoshopped as her face is unnaturally narrow at the bottom. She looks like a Disney or Pixar princess
