So they open at 0600 tomorrow. How long do you think we'll be stuck in a queue to get one. And will all the good ones be gone by the time we do

Yes I think so.

I'm sure its the 23rd for non delivery pass customers.

btw, Tesco tomorrow is for Delivery Savers only; everyone else is next week, 23rd.

Oh annoying. I have a Sainsbury's one and it only opens to pass holders on the 23rd I believe. Huff. Used to have a Tesco one.

Glad they haven't opened them at midnight like they have other years, i'm up early for work anyway, will give it a go and if i get stuck in the infamous queue i will give the task to DH to manage while he wfh. Good luck everyone!

The midnight thing was ridiculous! Need to actually plan what I need. Is it weird I enjoy doing this particular shop? 😂

mrsawhite do you do your whole shop? I just bung a bunch of bananas in my basket and checkout, then add to it nearer the time.

Yeah I preferred it when it was midnight too! I swear I'm stuck in a queue for longer at 6am and it clashes with getting kids ready for school 😬

After last year’s experience I’m not going to bother. I spent an hour and a half waiting in the queue (ok, I could still get on with morning jobs but it’s not the point) and I’ll have to nip into a shop anyway so might as well get more. I can’t understand why they can’t flex up the service to deal with increased customer demand. Shoddy.

I’m dreading a 5.30am alarm tbh! Normally up at 6.30am, then rush kids to nursery/school/get to work - I need that precious extra hour! But with no car and no supermarkets in walking distance going to have to suck it up 😬 I’d much rather have the midnight one!

Are you all logging on at 5.30am and refreshing at 6 for the new slots to come up? Or logging on at 6am? I’ve my alarm set for 5.45am (groan) but can’t remember the order despite doing it every year for the last 11! And I much preferred when they opened at midnight!

Me too. Have to get DH to do a 6am one. I can't do early mornings due to chronic illness. Last year he had to make a call on what slot to pick. You can imagine how that went.

Alarm set for 5.30 here too. Cup of tea in the middle, app open on tablet and website open on laptop.
And I'm currently having a bout of insomnia. DH is snoring and doing motorbike farts next to me.

Daughter woke me up at 4.50am so there was no point going back to sleep after that! Settled in with tea and toast, Tesco app and website open.

I’ve been awake since about half past four. I didn’t really sleep well before that either. I don’t like this 6am malarkey, it was much better at midnight.

I am not a morning person. Let’s hope this is quick and I can go back to sleep!

My eyes sting 😩. Was much better when DP could do it at midnight! Oh well. Fingers crossed all! 🤞
