Any age, preferably Romance or comedy or thriller but not depressing. Even it's a classic, because I'm sure there's gaps where I haven't seen certain things. Any suggestions gratefully received Flowers

Hear no evil, see no evil & The three Amigos I've not seen in years! (They were recorded on the same VHS when I was little! Tracking was awful but I played that tape to death Grin)

This thread is amazing I'm thrilled to have a list to watch, that'll see me through the winter Grin Thanks to everyone who has posted.

I watched As Good As it Gets, loved it! so thanks to those who suggested it. It's only on Netflix till tomorrow though in case that's useful to anyone.

Another vote here for Local Hero, I think it is my favourite film of all time, just gorgeous.
Someone beat me to Strictly Ballroom, but I want to recommend the Australian classic The Castle, an absolute gem of a movie.
