Can you recommend me a really good uplifting film?

Any age, preferably Romance or comedy or thriller but not depressing. Even it's a classic, because I'm sure there's gaps where I haven't seen certain things. Any suggestions gratefully received Flowers

Another old one, PaperMoon.

Nine to Five. Just watched it again the other night, never fails to bring joy.

Came on to say Pride, but have been beaten to it. Its my ultimate feel good film, particularly when feeling a bit more emotional, as I get a little cry and a lot of laughs and it ends with me feeling good about the world

Bat kid begins is really amazing (Google it because it's not what you expect from the title)

HumunaHey · 30/10/2021 14:15

@DampSquidGames

The Pursuit of Happyness
The Pursuit of Happyness has a happy ending but it is pure depression before that. If you want something light, I wouldn't recommend.
jamandmarmalade · 30/10/2021 14:20

Ruthless People (bette midler and shelley long) very funny
Three Men and a Baby
First Wives Club
Private Benjamin
Bird on a Wire

jamandmarmalade · 30/10/2021 14:24

sorry Outrageous Fortune is Shelley Long and Bette Midler (the one i said before has Danny de Vito but thats funny too)

Hideous Kinky (Kate Winslet soul searching but good) not a comedy

Eat, Pray, Love - Julia Roberts (another navel gazing one but very positive again)

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 30/10/2021 14:26
