Alec Baldwin has shot two people with what was thought to be a prop gun.

One person, he cinematographer is dead and the second has been hospitalised.

Absolutely stunning news.

The video is gobsmacking. I’m sure his lawyer is annoyed with him today. If they don’t want hassle from paps, they need to stay at home and lay very low for a while, not go on road trips.

His wife is a very strange woman. Not to mention to whole pretending to be Spanish thing (wtf), she looks demented and furious in that video. Why did they park up to do an interview if they were going to be so angry about it? All it does is adds fuel to the fire. Marching around with her phone out, looking like she’s ready for a fight, making sure she’s front and centre of the entire footage. Weird behaviour. She’s a certified attention-whore, they both are.

He had a nerve saying there needs to be greater regulation on film sets. There are regulations: he and the other producers of the film didn’t follow them. An attempt to deflect responsibility I suspect.

Just saw the clip.

What happened to Hilaria's accent? I thought she was maintaining the accent, but she seemed to have dropped it in this clip.

I thought he looked grief stricken, and doesn't know what way is up, he didn't say anything to prejudice the investigation, just pleaded politely with the paps to leave them alone. Fair enough.

It looked to me like she just wanted to record who was asking what so maybe they can figure what publications the reporters are from and that he wasn't misquoted. Fair enough.

As the producer, the person handholding the weapon, the man who's accidentally killed his friend and the knowledge of her families grief that's a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

The paps need to let the police do their job.

Just seen it. They both dealt with it as best as they could to protect their kids. Not our business why they are in Vermont and they are allowed to drive wherever to get some support themselves - he looks absolutely done in and was patience personified in the face of what is paparazzi stalking.

@TSSDNCOP

he looked like he was just hanging by a thread, trying to hold himself together long enough to utter some coherent sentences.

I know callous people say "well, he's a fine actor " and some other bullshit.
but he looked utterly broken

I thought she was taking photos/recording for identification purposes too.

They look shattered. I know actors earn a lot but they should pay into a fund for protection in situations like this, the media hound people, it must be terrifying for their children.

Have you seen the interview hes just given?

supersop60 · 03/12/2021 22:49

I saw highlights on the news. He seems disingenuous. Using language like 'the gun went off', ' I would never....'etc.

HelloBunny · 03/12/2021 22:56

It’s been unclear from the day of this awful tragedy, what actually happened to cause the gun to fire. Different sources give different accounts. Seems Baldwin is using it to his advantage, to create further ambiguity... And distance himself from the facts.
I’m sure that the police investigating know what really happened. But that does not mean they’ll be able to get justice... There will be lawyers all over this!
