Can someone explain what my son saw?

My DS (14) and his friends went for a walk deep in the woods yesterday. They came across four people standing in a circle with candles and markings on the ground. Two were dressed in all black, very smart, like priests. The other two were in normal clothes and were bleeding from their arms. My son said he saw them cut themselves, they were mumbling something inaudible while the two in all black held their arms in the air and chanted. When they realised they were being watched one of the people in black told the boys they were going to cut their heads off if they don’t leave. I know it’s true because one of the kids filmed it and I’ve watched it. Wtf!?

@Bebethany luckily your opinion is worth nothing to me so it’s all good 😁 And yes, next time I hear about an emergency 24hrs after the emergency happened I shall definitely be calling 999 to report the immediate (24 hrs later) emergency. That’s what they’re there for! They usually just put me through to their time travel department to go back a day to deal with the immediate danger.

@MibsXX

Have you actually read the OP?? They weren't 4 women in the woods having 'leisure time'... they were 4 people.. 2 we're bleeding from their arms...... then the boys got told to leave before they got their heads cut off...

Whats wrong with people on this thread....

Sorry @Silveryslade think I got your post confused... It was meant to be aimed at the person you had tagged I think...

silveryslade · 18/10/2021 20:33

Ah, that makes more sense @Newbabynewhouse, no worries.Smile

Bebethany · 18/10/2021 20:33

WitchesInTheWoods As a front line emergency worker, you are incredibly offensive. It won’t be difficult to do my job the next time we get called to suspicious activity in a wood. Grow up.

This is a parenting forum populated largely by frazzled, middle class premenopausal women. We've been excitedly arguing about a second hand changing bag in a charity shop for several weeks now. The chances of any of us having insider knowledge of satanic forest rituals are quite slim, tbh.
Hey! Less of the pre- menopausal.. I'm full blown 😂
KittenKong · 18/10/2021 20:34

There are some satanises around these ‘ere parts isn’t there? I’m sure I’ve seen some pop up...

WitchesInTheWoods · 18/10/2021 20:39

@Bebethany Oh no! I didn’t realise you were a frontline emergency worker. I bow down to you and beg for forgiveness your grace. That totally excuses your bitchy unhelpful comments.

I’m wondering why a group of 14 year olds shouldn’t be in the woods. Surely that’s exactly what they should be doing.

That may well be the most garbled post I've read today. Or perhaps this month.

Grin I nearly fell off my chair laughing at this!
Pippy1900 · 18/10/2021 20:44

I hope your son is ok. Threats to decapitate.(kill) are an offence without any injury having taken place. I wouldn’t be posting films or photographs. You have no idea whose these people may be and they could be perfectly harmless or extremely dangerous. Let the Police deal with it, tell your sons to stay out of the woods and stop filming people he does know covertly. The group
may have been extremely dangerous. Whatever, there practise or belief system they really shouldn’t be practising in a public place if they are annoyed enough by being filmed to threaten to “cut off” a child’s head. If I was in the wood picking flowers or walking the dog and someone was converting filming me I would be pretty angry and tell them to piss off. I would t threaten to decapitate them!

Honestly, I’m genuinely shocked at some of the replies on here. This is a concerned mother, who has turned to this forum for some advice. Not to be verbally attacked and laughed at for being concerned about her son. I assure you, I was definitely in the woods doing things I shouldn’t have been when I was 14. To the OP, yes it sounds like some type of ritual tbh. Considering the time of year, with Halloween coming up, I’m not surprised. Police won’t do anything either, just tell your son to stay out of the woods until after Halloween. Easier said than done though since 14 year olds don’t listen. Like, ever 😒 Good luck

Danzig · 18/10/2021 20:58

@silveryslade

@Danzig, I thought it was common. Or at least a large part of religious practice. When you look up what in known through either archeology and writings contemporary to the times of for example the Celts, Norse, Germanic Tribes, Astecs, Druids.

And yes, Christianity certainly centres upon themes of sacrifice (blood and otherwise) in the Old Testament and new. Except the God we worship was a willing sacrifice, through his son Christ, Himself.

I think it's a feature of human societies.

There is archaeological evidence of it happening, but hardly that your average "pagan" was sacrificing people on a daily basis. And how much if those contemporary writings were by Chrstians with a vested interest in making other Religions look bad?
silveryslade · 18/10/2021 21:04

@Danzig, so you agree there is archeological evidence. Since, you speak as if you have a viewpoint on this subject what do you believe the day to day religious practice of pre Christian pagans was like? And what has lead you to your conclusions?

Youarethecurry · 18/10/2021 21:09

They are just deranged idiots indulging in a little Satan worship. Probably drugs involved too.

The police need to be made aware (whatever good that does). Your son was lucky to get away from them. The 'rites' are meaningless but this stuff does attract pretty vile individuals, sometimes it is just an excuse to abuse children and women, and torture animals.

Dancingonmoonlight · 18/10/2021 21:17

@JudyGemstone

I’m not that well informed but isn’t satanism more about the separation of church and state when it comes to law making in society?

So more akin to a fancier type or atheism than devil worship? As most satanists don’t believe in God or the devil and don’t believe laws should be based upon the assumption that they exist (see abortion laws in the US/Republic or Ireland).

I think YOU need to read about the abortion laws in Republic of Ireland.
Whyyyyyyyohhhhhwhyyyyyy · 18/10/2021 21:34

It's a ritual, more than likely satanic/black witchcraft since it involves blood, its an occult, possibly 'initiating' new members or its a blood sacrifice..

People like to think this kind of stuff doesn't happen anymore but it does.

There is no way this ritual is anything good. Your son is very lucky because they would of done exactly what they had threatened to do if they didn't leave.

Eh? Are you saying she should have rung 999 a day after it happened? 101 was absolutely the right number to ring. If her son had called her at the time then 999 would have been correct. If she had rung 999 a day later she would/should have been told to ring 101. I say this as a manager in a police control room.
TatianaBis · 18/10/2021 21:37

For Satanism tosh you’d expect to see inverted crucifixes and inverted pentagram etc

@WorraLiberty How can a couple of boys whispering be even remotely identifying? 🙄

One the boys says my son’s name*

Unless his name is Balonz a 14 year old boys name is not outing

Whyyyyyyyohhhhhwhyyyyyy · 18/10/2021 21:42

Also to add, there are several versions of satanism just like their are religions following God

Levayan satanism is probably the tamest and the 10 commandments are more like common sense rules to live by for example don't rape/harm women or children etc and those who practice la vayan satanism do NOT worship satan, they believe that oneself is God, and they worship themselves.

BUT there are some forms of satanism that would blow your mind with how evil they are and yes they include human sacrifice and other atrocious acts in the name of the satan and his demons.
