It is the internet and anyone can post or upload anything and claim that it is evidence of all manner of things.
Those familiar with the Qanon and Pizzagate hoaxes (and the multiple other satanic panic related hoaxes) will understand that
a) Hoaxes and collective hysteria / moral panics relating to accusations of ritual murders and infanticide linked to devil worship / satanism have existed for hundreds if not thousands of years. They have probably existed since humanity crawled out of caves.
b) Pogroms and other atrocities have resulted from these panics and sometimes such panics have likely been carefully crafted by sinister actors with ulterior motives. Land grabs, massive pilfering of property, unjustified wars and genocidal aspiratrions are well documented motivations for the creation of such hoaxes throughout history.
c) The world is in a very dangerous state at the moment. The connections between certain state actors involvement in such hoaxes for political purposes have been well documented.
d) It is always inportant to report threats and violent actions, especially against minors, to the appropriate law enforcement agencies. However we should be cautious not to contribute to the current delicate situation in which hoaxes relating to satanic cults are a central theme of political jujitsu, endagering our democacies on a global basis.
e) There are extremely dangerous cults, all over the world, that engage in criminality. One example is the worldwide cult of mental health professionals who promote satanic ritual abuse conspiracy theories. There are many others. There are others. What is important, in dealing with such cults is for victims to report concern to the police. I understand, from bitter personal experice, that the police do not always take reports seriously. However if enough people report then it will eventually have an effect.
