Can someone explain what my son saw?

My DS (14) and his friends went for a walk deep in the woods yesterday. They came across four people standing in a circle with candles and markings on the ground. Two were dressed in all black, very smart, like priests. The other two were in normal clothes and were bleeding from their arms. My son said he saw them cut themselves, they were mumbling something inaudible while the two in all black held their arms in the air and chanted. When they realised they were being watched one of the people in black told the boys they were going to cut their heads off if they don’t leave. I know it’s true because one of the kids filmed it and I’ve watched it. Wtf!?

😂😂

There's now hundreds of (Peri)menopausal women across the land googling 'satanic rituals' and 'what do angels really look like?'.

Wiredforsound · 17/10/2021 16:08

I’m googling ‘satanic rituals and charity shop changing mat’ right now.

What's the betting that brings you straight back to this thread?
silveryslade · 17/10/2021 16:10

I must say it's all very interesting. I never really thought about whether angels had souls or not. I too have been one of the googling menopausal women! Grin

Threatening teenagers with such aggressive language is pretty sinister, though, whether they disturbed some sort of ritual or not. I'm assuming they weren't trespassing.

OldTinHat · 17/10/2021 16:11

Not Clapham Woods in Sussex by any chance??

Dervel · 17/10/2021 16:14

I don’t care if 18 months preparations were involved or HOW much it meant to the participants, threats to the public (in a public area) are unacceptable. There are ways of organising these sorts of things (if means that much), I would have a few friends not directly participating in the ritual on hand to keep away any onlookers bu respectfully requesting they do so, but also to politely field any questions of the genuinely curious.

@JesusInTheCabbageVan

This is a parenting forum populated largely by frazzled, middle class premenopausal women. We've been excitedly arguing about a second hand changing bag in a charity shop for several weeks now. The chances of any of us having insider knowledge of satanic forest rituals are quite slim, tbh.

Maybe it was runny jam. Much easier to get out of white cloth than blood. Probably a few jam rituals about, I should think, maybe contact the WI?

DigOlBick · 17/10/2021 16:24

@Ibelieveinghosts levayan and temple of satan. Although having studied the Bible I would absolutely choose theistic satanism of Christianity any day!

Absolutely hilarious, spat my tea out laughing. Yeah phone the police tho

Those woods are very strange, there's a video on YT about that place and the devil worship that apparently goes on, Binsted Woods in Sussex is another one..
Alfr · 17/10/2021 16:31

@urbanbuddha

There's no visible camera or sound in those photos so not film students.
No visible sound... There are no visible cameras or sound equipment in approximately 100% of films ever made - just saying
mytortoiseisill · 17/10/2021 16:32

@C8H10N4O2 grin another possibility is that OP's son stumbled across the outing hobby everyone's DH has. Except there were only four of them, so that can't be it.”

I’ll have whatever Jesusinacabbagevan is having.....

oakleaffy · 17/10/2021 16:40

If this isn’t a Wind-up, after hearing about the Ripper Gang in 1980’s - Sickening- I’d report it.

urbanbuddha · 17/10/2021 16:41

What we're seeing there is screengrabs from the video the boys took of what they saw in the woods. If there was filming going on you would see equipment at the very least and more probably operators too since the robed people would be the actors.
Personally I think they're just wannabe witches. Real witches don't hold rituals in daylight AFAIK.

Brilliant!

This made me snort.. Grin
Cheeseontoastwithchopsauce · 17/10/2021 16:46

Gransnet meet up by the looks of it
They've cut Maureen & Glynis' arms to stop them snaffling the last of the organic hummus and sourdough as that's the starter for the WI annual dinner and dance

NeverDropYourMooncup · 17/10/2021 16:46

@HerRoyalWitchyness

I am now musing on how many rituals you could get out of a Mumsnet sacrificial chicken...

GrinGrinGrin

Three sabbats and a black mass, obviously. With the bones boiled up for a ritual burning in a Wicker Chicken on Thursdays.

@JesusInTheCabbageVan 🤣🤣🤣 amazing.

The weirdos do need reporting though, bizarre.

oakleaffy · 17/10/2021 16:55

Threatening violence to kids isn’t on.
Only for that reason, I’d report it.
The Ripper Gang in the 80’s did appalling things to young women , under the guise of Black Magic

Was it you caught in the woods OP?

We don't only go out at night. Just like Christians don't only pray on Sundays in church. Rituals can be held any time of day, any day of the week. It's a myth paganism / Wicca is a Dark Art.

CharlieFarnsbarns123 · 17/10/2021 17:00

...and they would have got away with it, if it hadn't been for those pesky kids.
