Can someone explain what my son saw?

My DS (14) and his friends went for a walk deep in the woods yesterday. They came across four people standing in a circle with candles and markings on the ground. Two were dressed in all black, very smart, like priests. The other two were in normal clothes and were bleeding from their arms. My son said he saw them cut themselves, they were mumbling something inaudible while the two in all black held their arms in the air and chanted. When they realised they were being watched one of the people in black told the boys they were going to cut their heads off if they don’t leave. I know it’s true because one of the kids filmed it and I’ve watched it. Wtf!?

Sounds like the morning huddle on the ward to me

BashfulClam · 17/10/2021 17:06

I do rituals in daylight.

This is a parenting forum populated largely by frazzled, middle class premenopausal women. We've been excitedly arguing about a second hand changing bag in a charity shop for several weeks now. The chances of any of us having insider knowledge of satanic forest rituals are quite slim, tbh.

Hopefully by now you have phoned 999 and reported this to the Police?

Also maybe have a conversation with your Son about not going into the woods without a responsible adult?

Arrowheart · 17/10/2021 17:20

😂😂😂😂

Arrowheart · 17/10/2021 17:21

My quote wasn't included!!! I was laughing at the Father Michael reference.

Crafting1Queen · 17/10/2021 17:22

I've no idea, but who knew -

If you go down to the woods today,
You're in for a big surprise.......

There’s a group near us that gather in large numbers, they’re connected to widespread child abuse, historic torture and murders, they’ve been known to chant, burn mind altering substances, perform rituals over babies and dead bodies, the leader (dressed in ceremonial robes) is a keeper of secrets, their meeting place is adorned with many (culturally appropriated) symbols with occult meanings they freely admit to drinking the blood and eating the body of a 2000 year old Jew and encourage children as young as 7 to join in. That’s why I report their mass gatherings every Sunday. I think Father Michael is getting a bit pissed off tbh.

Do satanists worship on a Sunday morning?

So do I.

Did one yesterday afternoon as it happens but not in Sussex!

😂😂 don’t think I commented on that thread, but I read it. Can’t believe it’s still going…

But in answer to your question, I would contact the police.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 17/10/2021 17:55

@Elphame

not involving blood surely?

me4real · 17/10/2021 17:55

It sounds unlikely but if real could be some sort of initiation ceremony. The two giving a blood offering may be beginning in the circle/path and so they are giving an offering of blood, or may use the blood to then sign their name.

They could be in their normal clothes as they are not yet of the group. After the part where they pledge allegiance, they could don their robes (though that they aren't wearing any kind of robe is unusual.)

I still think it unlikely.

I am a Theistic Satanist so do know about it a little.

I’ve seen little prayer groups or rituals been carried out before.
Which all seemed perfectly safe if not a little awkward whilst trying to walk past with out making eye contact / disturb them / trying to make it look like I hadn’t really noticed.
They’ve never threatened me but then I’ve never filmed them. Not that it makes it ok to threaten children in the woods of course.

Not yesterday no as it was a simple ritual but I have in the past and will again in the future.

Mummyoflittledragon · 17/10/2021 18:09

@me4real

Theistic Satanist - I’m intrigued and there’s not much online... how do you become one?
@BubblingBottle. Satan ( or Lucifer) was an angel of God, raised at his right hand to be his most favoured. When God gave life to humans he also gave them a soul. Satan/Lucifer rebelled at this idea as it put humans abouve soulless angels. There was then a great war in Heaven where the angels battled each other, and Satans side lost. The Archangel Michael then threw him into the firey pit to suffer for all eternity.
Satan as a PP said does not appear in any other religous text other the the Old and New Testaments. I was raised Irish Catholic and spent the first 18 years of my life in Convent Schools. I am now a Pagan who is doing a degree in Theology. I can 100 percent assure you ftom a spirtiual and Academic point of view Satan is Christian concept. Maybe you should try reading the Bible you claim to know so much about.
&
Angels are considered to be God's first creations -- intellect and will, but no body or soul. They aren't and never were people; extra good people become saints in the Catholic faith

No wonder the Angels got pissed off.
They should have taken God to an employment tribunal instead.
