This delightful young lady presented at my clinic today and reminded me of a fancy iced cake. I prescribed one slice of cake every hour on the hour to be eaten on an empty stomach.

Follow up in two weeks with a Black Forest gateau, switching to battenberg later.

MichelleScarn · 08/10/2021 21:24

Is that handwritten or typed? Some medics writing is rather 'interesting'!

Fluffypastelslippers · 08/10/2021 21:27

Gazelda · 08/10/2021 21:27

Have they mistakenly uploaded a shopping list?

AnyFucker · 08/10/2021 21:28

Give over

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2021 21:29

This is so weird.
Fancy iced cake?
Seriously, I would be asking for an explanation. Your records should be clearly laid out

ApolloandDaphne · 08/10/2021 21:32

We need more context

Everythinghasturnedtoshit · 08/10/2021 21:32

GP records?

There's no code for cake and fancy iced cake?

Was this in a written letter? How did you get access to this online?

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2021 21:33

There are SNOMED codes for everything :o

Everythinghasturnedtoshit · 08/10/2021 21:34

But is there one for cake and fancy iced cake? Confused

Twickerhun · 08/10/2021 21:35

OP do you need medical marijuana?

dayswithaY · 08/10/2021 21:36

Free cakes on the NHS?

MrsMop1964 · 08/10/2021 21:36

Are they calling you a donut?

MrsLeclerc · 08/10/2021 21:37

Wondering if they’ve used software to upload hand written notes to digital format and it’s struggled with handwriting?!

Can you recognise any dates to match up with illness/medication and decipher?

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2021 21:37

@Everythinghasturnedtoshit

But is there one for cake and fancy iced cake? Confused
It'll be hierarchical Cake -- butterfly cake --whole cake ----fancy iced ----tea loaf ----festive (birthday) ----festive (easter)

Etc

ScarlettDarling · 08/10/2021 21:38

😂😂😂

WhateverIdo · 08/10/2021 21:38

Everythinghasturnedtoshit · 08/10/2021 21:38

HeechulOppa · 08/10/2021 21:41

But what does it mean?@Everythinghasturnedtoshit

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2021 21:42

Could habe been worse, they coukd have recorded you as 226659009 lardy cake.

Everythinghasturnedtoshit · 08/10/2021 21:43

To be fair coding issues are not uncommon. I'm down as "extremely clinically vulnerable" for covid. Was told to shield, get offered vaccine as soon as it comes out. There is absolutely no reason for me to be vulnerable, I have zero long term conditions, except for eczema. There's obvs a mistake on my medical records somewhere, but I haven't seen my records so have no idea what it is.
