So what exactly are 'we' going to do about our misogynist Prime Minister?

Not that I expected anything different.
Howww.theguardian.com/politics/2021/oct/06/tottymeter-and-girly-swots-how-johnson-shows-women-respectwever this summary of his misogynist statements over the last couple of years is worth reading, I feel.

Why is he still in power? And which ones of your made the mistake of voting for him? (I didn't)

If Keir abandons self id I'd join the Labour Party tomorrow. A profitable use of Labour supporters' time would be to work out why their party has been unelectable for the last 11 years and to do something about it.

Or you can just keep attacking people who have the temerity to exercise their vote in the way they see fit and see how that works out for youSmile

@RufustheBadgeringReindeer

But on threads like this, clearly about the current PM, it turns into what about Labour

Oh yeah completely agree with this bit

Winds me right up…

But that's the answer people are giving you. He is still PM even though he's a shitshow because the opposition are even worse and are looking to deny the rights and identity of 51% of the population!
TooBigForMyBoots · 09/10/2021 14:18

Labour haven't been in power for years. The problems with self ID happened under Tory rule, but yeah Labour is worse.🙄

Why are the opposition worse ? They haven't enacted any legislation denying the rights and identity of women as yet but the tories have. He's hardly a shit show for you if you entrusted him with your vote. So own your decision. The electorate liked him and his policies regardless of his reputation, they knew what he was like. So to blame the shocking state of the country on the opposition is a bit disingenuous.

People do own their decisions what makes you think they don’t? Maybe it’s just no one you know votes Tory,
Like Brexit or voting Green or for electoral reform, one party usually has something specific that oeopke vote for. Taxes and spending are just much of a muchness (they all over promise and waste bucketfuls).

Trans rights and the identity of women is a recent issue and is still evolving.
Clearly what the current government did was considered reasonable at the time. However when it’s evident somethings not working then it changes. I don’t see any of the opposition offering change on the issue, in fact most would take it further.

Good morning to all Tory supporters who think they are the party for women. Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

Neither main party is arsed about women. Labour don't recognise what a woman is and are happy for men to have unfettered access to women's spaces, and the Tories don't care one iota for women's rights. Out of the 2 I don't know, can't say I'd ever vote Labour until they realise what they're preaching and doubling down on is just an ideology.

Rubbish.

Thats what many people believe

Proof otherwise would be interesting

How is it rubbish? They can't acknowledge what a biological woman is, so how can they protect our spaces?

Tell me again how the left cares about women?

So what exactly are 'we' going to do about our misogynist Prime Minister?
TooBigForMyBoots · 12/10/2021 13:41

I'm not sure what your point is @RhymesWithOrange. Misogyny exists on the left and on the right. Our PM is a misogynist and the current Conservative government is no friend to women.

No matter the moral panic that exists in society the right wing always profess to having a solution but it tends to involve more suffering and less rights for everyone but no point telling them that
