Just got married in secret

So this morning I got married to my amazing boyfriend and we haven't told a sole, except our two neighbours.

I don't understand the secrecy. Just tell people you have done the legal bit and are looking forward to welcoming them to a blessing and celebration.

Secrecy and deceit with your family and friends are no way to start a marriage.

I would just tell them, your family won't miss out on celebrating with you.

I would tell people though, you even say yourself so what if they find out, it will still be an invite to a celebration of your wedding that people would enjoy, so better to just be honest about it
If people find out so what, we will have a lovely day, good food, free bar, good band.

Marrying early due to health reasons is to make sure things are sorted legally - I completely understand why your husband would want to do this

He’s not sick, and he has no reason to believe he is. This is completely bizarre, and implies some sort of mental health issues

He lost his sibling very young, he lost his dad at the same age he is now and he lost his mother.

He had a temporary, "shit" moment when he thought what if I die too.
