There's an inexplicable shortcake of wooden cat litter which is annoying me.

Pheebs2021 · 28/09/2021 19:27

There wasn't my usual brand of cordial.

Mymapuddlington · 28/09/2021 19:28

No milk at all near me which is bloody annoying as I live very close to three dairy farms

Notdoingthis · 28/09/2021 19:30

Cat food

gogohm · 28/09/2021 19:32

No tonic water, it's a disaster! I had to buy lemonade Confused

They had everything else

EvilRingahBitch · 28/09/2021 19:33

Just reread my post.
"Shortage" not "shortcake" of cat litter. The latter seems unappealing.

Almaisnormal · 28/09/2021 19:33

No. .I got everything I wanted

NapoleonOzmolysis · 28/09/2021 19:33

Grapes, nectarines, pain au chocolat.

mahrezzy · 28/09/2021 19:34

Not been able to buy decent chicken for weeks.

bloodywhitecat · 28/09/2021 19:35

Formula for the baby.

WormYourHonour · 28/09/2021 19:35

I went to the co-op bad they didn't have any bottled water anywhere. No big bottles or even the little 500ml ones.
The assistant said they only had a single delivery recently and warehouse put other stuff on instead of water.

Grin

Quite a mixture then of things. I did wonder about the apples

Mymapuddlington that's frustrating. Make pals with the farmers.

Noodles. Anything vegan. Local coop.

liveforsummer · 28/09/2021 19:37

Dog food. Ddog gets high protein wet food that comes in a plastic tray with a clear peel back lid or a foil tray (naturo, Harrington's, crave, few others brands too) I'm not actually too fussy over brand as she just gets a tiny bit to mix in to encourage her to eat her complete dry food. There wasn't a single option in Asda yesterday, normally multiple flavours of several brands. Oddly there wasn't a huge amount of empty shelf space but lots of multipacks of own brand tins

Poetrypatty · 28/09/2021 19:37

Formula for the baby

Oh no that must be a worry. Hope you managed to get some in the end.

LubaLuca · 28/09/2021 19:37

Mushrooms and cream.

Littleoakhorn · 28/09/2021 19:38

Nope. I live in Germany. There are no shortages here.

Justanotherquestioner · 28/09/2021 19:38

I got apples. Couldn't get chicken or heniz beans (I don't eat heinz but noticed the shelf was empty when I picked up the own brand beans)

redpandaalert · 28/09/2021 19:38

Today no croissants, pain au chocolat, millionaire shortbread and sticky toffee pudding . None of it urgent and for the kids who can just eat satsumas there were a lot of those.

Justanotherquestioner · 28/09/2021 19:39

Oh and alpro Oat milk (long life version). And galaxy vegan hot chocolate

EatSleepRantRepeat · 28/09/2021 19:41

I'm in the South East and guess I've been really lucky, because everything I wanted has been in stock. I cook everything from scratch though - the main things missing from our local is ready meals and low stocks of prepared veg bags, I think they're often processed in the EU and brought here. There us still plenty of food, but maybe disappointing for people who are used to buying the exact things and brands they want. Like there is still no squeezy marmite after the covid brewery shutdown, but they have the smaller rigid jars.

LubaLuca · 28/09/2021 20:29

I noticed there were no milk alternatives left in Aldi, soy and almond milk type drinks.

Cakeonthefloor · 28/09/2021 20:30

Burnshersmurfs · 28/09/2021 20:34

There seems to be quite a long wait for car repairs and servicing at the moment around here.

Whenwillthewashingend · 28/09/2021 20:34

Soda water. I drink it because it helps with my ibs, but couldn't find any.
I managed to get some small bottles of sparkling water, so they should help a bit.
