I went in two different supermarkets to buy apples today and there weren't any

I thought Sainsbury’s had stopped getting aubergines for about two months after Brexit kicked in

Turns out they had moved them ;

Frozen section was pretty empty - needed peas and potato croquettes and none.

Walkers salt & vinegar crisps in a multipack. Haven't been able to get them for weeks. All my other usual foods seem to be available.

No sparkling water, lemonade or cucumbers.

Satsumas and nectarines.

I popped into Lidl today for a couple of things and didn't see any empty shelves - unlike when I did my full shop last week when there was hardly any cooked meat and virtually no cheese. That fridge was however, fully stocked today.
I also bought petrol on the way to Lidl - drove straight to a pump - no queue.

Can't get no satisfaction.

Or, apparently, Chardonnay.

No milk at all near me which is bloody annoying as I live very close to three dairy farms

I went to the co-op bad they didn't have any bottled water anywhere. No big bottles or even the little 500ml ones. The assistant said they only had a single delivery recently and warehouse put other stuff on instead of water.

Impossible isn't it too get the big ones

Also to the previous poster who needed Kendamil formula, I don’t know if it’ll suit your circumstances but you can get it on subscription directly from Kendamil. It was a lifesaver for us during Covid.

One of the things that struck me today is how it's going to become normalised that we won't be able to just go to the shops and get what we want, like we used to. You expect there to be gaps in the shelves now.

Frozen peas (pretty much no frozen veg left at all) and 50/50 bread

I’m sooo disappointed that my favourite juice - apple and mango, bought from Tesco or Aldi - has disappeared from the shelves for weeks now. I used to buy it every Friday as a weekend treat.

soda water - haven't been able to get for the past ten days (in various supermarkets) and today when i tried two different supermarkets there was no sparkling water to be had either! i'm trying to cut back on caffeine but at this rate the diet pepsi will be getting restarted...

I haven't been able to get semi-skimmed uht milk for the last couple of weeks. Both Iceland and the 2 lidl's near me have been out of it.

On the frozen section of the Ocado website, it says there’s a limited supply of frozen food at the moment, due to the shortage of dry ice used when transporting goods. This must be affecting other foodstuffs as well.

bread has been on and off, there have been many days in recent weeks when we couldn't get it.

Also vegetables are very hit and miss. There is no point deciding what veg you want, you just have to go to the shops and get what is available.

Which a couple of times has only been courgettes, but once was only broccoli.
