A dust collecter. Like a dehumidifier but for dust. Its not natural the amount of dust in my house.

Something that makes ironing either 10 times easier or not needed at all.

Can you tell im spending my weekend doing all my housework 🤦🏻‍♀️

OP posts:

Something that enables you to get clean without showering amd washing hair

WeAreTheHeroes · 25/09/2021 16:51

A hands free ironing device - put clothes in, push button. Take crease free clothes out at end of programme. I iron the bare minimum and hate ironing.

Ricekrispie22 · 25/09/2021 16:52

You can get very low calorie pasta and rice. Just waiting for someone to invent low calorie McDonald’s fries.

KitchenKhaos · 25/09/2021 16:53

Things that are powered through the ether with no cables. Wires and plug sockets on any one of a million electrical items do my head in.

Think Samsung do something similar, saw it at their store in Kings Cross
KitchenKhaos · 25/09/2021 16:54

Oh, and a cold blast button on a microwave.

LadyWithLapdog · 25/09/2021 16:54

The 1 day working week. Please someone hurry up and invent that. For a cracking good wage, of course.

LeavesAre · 25/09/2021 16:55

A proper place for my bag in a car.

Nilaqua. I’ve used it in hospital. The hair one and the body one. Fantastic stuff.
rslsys · 25/09/2021 16:56

Would that have to be EVERY week? Or just every few weeks when you fancied working.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 25/09/2021 16:57

I fucking hate dusting. It feels so futile. Doing it puts me in such a bad mood.

I want a clone who will do all the shite jobs in my life whilst I do nothing.

Roundlampshade · 25/09/2021 16:57

Yea yea yea to the dust collector. I clicked on the link precisely to type that!

LadyWithLapdog · 25/09/2021 17:04

@rslsys I’m willing to compromise on working every week (bar 6-8 week holidays) if it was just 1 day a week. Preferably from home, again I might be persuaded for the office too.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 25/09/2021 17:11

A device that gets you showered, hair done & make up perfect in 5 -10 mins or less.
I'm thinking of perhaps some kind of steam/uv light pod plus a device that you put your head & hair in to be styled & face printer for the make up.
Who ever invents that will make trillions & be loved forever for all the extra sleep & time it frees up.

Rummikub · 25/09/2021 17:12

A whole body drier for when I get out the shower
Hate drying myself

BreakfastOfWaffles · 25/09/2021 17:19

I would love a device that dusts high bookshelves for you. I hate that job!

SoupDragon · 25/09/2021 17:21

Teleportation.

Appalonia · 25/09/2021 17:23

An app where, if you put in your measurements, or uploaded a photo, you'd be able to see what clothes online looked like on your body shape.

Justgivemethebrie · 25/09/2021 17:25

An obvious one but a pill that can be taken and voila...Overnight you become the perfect weight for your body.

StrongSunglasses · 25/09/2021 17:26

Cleaning drones
A car that doesn’t have the awkward crevices down the side of the seats - just make it flush to the side?!??
Self cleaning baths and showers

I have a hepa air purifier in each of room on 24/7 which removes 99.9% of dust/pollen particles etc from the air, they’re readily available and not that expensive so that might help those with excessive dust!

converseandjeans · 25/09/2021 17:30

An energy tablet that would mean I wasn't always so tired. I'm peri menopausal and sleep is disturbed unless I take a sleeping tablet.

RustyBear · 25/09/2021 17:32

Some tool that's as effective and easy to use as your thumbnail scraping stuff off other stuff, especially when cleaning small spaces.

AgnesNaismith · 25/09/2021 17:34

A less invasive tool to carry out smear tests with

SickAndTiredAgain · 25/09/2021 17:35

A foolproof cure for the vomiting and the nausea of morning sickness.

niceberg · 25/09/2021 17:36

A pill that means you don't have to use sunscreen. It must be safe for children, the little squirmers.
