A dust collecter. Like a dehumidifier but for dust. Its not natural the amount of dust in my house.

Something that makes ironing either 10 times easier or not needed at all.

Can you tell im spending my weekend doing all my housework 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Rummikub full body driers are a thing, I saw one once in someone's house, it was in the corner of their walk in shower!

crackofdoom · 25/09/2021 22:45

A spot on head lice treatment for children- like the spot on flea treatment you get for cats. No more bloody combing!

RicherThanYow · 25/09/2021 22:45

Norovirus vaccine! Someone, somewhere, has to be working on it….

Disastermagnet27 · 25/09/2021 23:17

Definitely a teleportation device so I can visit my parents on the other side of the world and be back in time for work in the morning!

ClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 26/09/2021 00:02

A spray that a quick blast on the head will kill all lice and eggs and make them fall out immediately.

TinselTitsAndGlitteryBits · 26/09/2021 00:07

Some sort of bath bomb that fake tans you, so all you've to do is lay in the bath instead of applying it.

A folding machine for laundry (one that preferably puts it away too!)

A device that can do a perfect bouncy blow dry on you in minutes.

A button that turns stairs into a slide, so you can slide down (I'm currently in hospital after falling down the stairs, causing compression of the spinal cord; so I want that more than anything right now!)

@chocolateorangeinhaler

Bathroom descaler that actually works

Viakal doesn't touch it. Cilit bang is about as strong as water. The only thing that's ever worked is harpic 100% toilet limescale remover. But I have to put up with chemical burns when it splashes when I stand there with a scourer scrubbing it.

It's called a water softener. Saves hours, and means you don't need to use ANY descaler, the shower screen stays clean and sparkling, as do the taps, the loo etc.

Self-cleaning toilets, to get rid of all the skid marks left by dh and ds. It must also be able to clean the toilet seat.

Phantom1 · 26/09/2021 02:25

A self- cleaning sink to clean off all the tea stains and remove gunk from the plughole after dh and ds have been left to their own devices in the kitchen for too long.

Acatnamedfox · 26/09/2021 02:41

Anti hangover pill!!

TheIrritableGoldfish · 26/09/2021 03:00

A on/off switch for sleeping .

OverByYer · 26/09/2021 07:22

A pill that provides all your calories and nutrients for the day, that fills you up so you can save hours each day by not having to think about/ buy/ prepare food

squishee · 26/09/2021 07:33

@RustyBear

Some tool that's as effective and easy to use as your thumbnail scraping stuff off other stuff, especially when cleaning small spaces.
Try these! www.lakeland.co.uk/7708/Pot-and-Pan-Scrapers---Pack-of-4
ProfessorInkling · 26/09/2021 07:36

Magic cat food bowls that keep the food in the bowl no matter the cats effort to make a mess.

Stickywhitelovepiss · 26/09/2021 07:41

A device that allows you to transport the contents of a full bladder into the nearest toilet (particularly at night so don't have to get out of bed)

midsomermurderess · 26/09/2021 07:41

Something that would effectively and without causing other damage or muting to neural pathways, that would cut dead addiction. Obviously, not quite that simple.

squishee · 26/09/2021 07:42

Something to dust Venetian blinds effortlessly

Huel and its many competitors do this. Not a pill, but a shake. Takes a bit of getting used to, but I love the convenience of it.
Fizbosshoes · 26/09/2021 07:51

A machine that detects all spiders in the house and safely puts them in the garden

I would pay A LOT for this....but I would need not to be able to see them as well!

And calorie free chocolate (that tasted nice of course)

Squidthing · 26/09/2021 07:53

Teleporting. Love being away but hate the travelling to get there.

roundtable · 26/09/2021 07:57

A spray bottle that can spray upside down or at an angle easily.

JoborPlay · 26/09/2021 07:59

Since getting our robot vacuum cleaner, the amount of dust has massively reduced! It's just not in the air.

Choccorocco · 26/09/2021 08:01

To prevent a hangover, drink an oral rehydration drink like Dioralyte before you go to sleep. It counters the diuretic effect of the ethanol so you don’t get dehydrated.
You’re welcome 😀

Norovirus vaccine! Someone, somewhere, has to be working on it….
I think I remember reading about this a few years ago, and they're fairly close to a vaccine. As far as I remember, the issue was more about the practicalities and whether it was worth the cost of distributing it, rather than the technology.

I'd be happy to pay to get it every year, though!

EnidFrighten · 26/09/2021 08:13

A bra that is comfortable. I can't believe we can run space missions but we can't effectively support a pair of tits.
