Just booked an appointment and had a confirmation email with the prices on:
£45 cut
£45 foils

So £90 - sounds like a lot - what do you think ? Am I being stingey ?

£3.75 at the local college. I don’t have highlights, mainly because my hair is black.

TooWicked · 14/09/2021 14:43

For a half head of foils, and a cut and blow dry, £110. I have shoulder length hair. I do think it’s expensive but it’s the going rate in my area.

Partey · 14/09/2021 14:44

Balayage and cut and blow dry £75

girlmom21 · 14/09/2021 14:45

£45 foils is cheap. £45 wash, cut and blow dry is fairly standard.

Ughmaybenot · 14/09/2021 14:46

Doesn’t sound too bad to me.
I pay £145 for balayage, cut, wash and style. Hair to my mid back. It’s a lot of money, but it’s a very low maintenance option, I last had my hair done probably 9 months ago and it still looks good enough to draw compliments here and there!

Palavah · 14/09/2021 14:48

Sounds cheap

Samanabanana · 14/09/2021 14:49

I think that sounds about right? I normally pay £90 for a cut and colour (top up) with a senior stylist.

WhatsTheBFD · 14/09/2021 14:49

£140 for highlights and a cut, and that’s with my sisters family discount. I’m in the Midlands.

Invisimamma · 14/09/2021 14:49

£90 balayage with a cut and blow dry.

I see the junior stylist because it's cheaper but it does mean I have to keep changing hairdresser when they get promoted to stylist, as the price increases to around £120.

Bluecheck679 · 14/09/2021 14:49

I'd be interested to know area, Edinburgh is pretty expensive compared to prices here! About £140 for cut and highlights, balayage is more like 160 at least

PickAChew · 14/09/2021 14:51

I pay similar r for my cut. I don't colour my hair so couldn't comment on that.
