How much do you pay at the hairdressers ??

Just booked an appointment and had a confirmation email with the prices on:
£45 cut
£45 foils

So £90 - sounds like a lot - what do you think ? Am I being stingey ?

God mine is £200 for half head and cut
But it’s literally the best colour and cut I’ve ever had. So I’m sticking with it

I paid approx £120 for full head foils cut & blow dry regularly. Top salon in City centre.

Balayage, cut, blow dry, style £160 4-5 hours

£91. Balayage, cut and blow dry with olaplex 1 and 2. 4 hours approx.

£70 T section foils, cut and blow dry.

£30 cut twice per year, £8 packet dye 3-4 times per year

These responses are so varied !
£90 seems about right for what she’s booked me in for but I’ve now realised it’s not the price but the Meh feeling I get when handing it over !
I want a style and colour I love and would pay anything for it !

I pay £65 for full head of foils and cut. My hair is long - down to mid back

£135 for full tint, scatter highlights and cut, I’ve paid less and hated my hair - happy to pay more and my hair has never looked better.

I used to pay £70 for a cut and blow dry. Then realised it was beyond ridiculous. My last (excellent) one was £36.

£50 for a cut and highlights 😳 obviously getting a very good deal!!

£95 (although I round up to £100) for cut and balayage every 3 months.

I’m about 140 for colour, cut and blow dry.

£270 for cut, full head highlights (three colours), toners, and cut. East/Central London.

£60 for a cut and blow dry (I don’t colour my hair). London, not central.

£75 + £5 tip for Cut and Colour (6weeks)
£20 + £5 tip for blow-dry every week.

£90 for a cut and colour sounds reasonable to me.
It’s what I pay (mates rates, in fact she charges me less but I always give her a £20 tip so she actually only charges £70), friend had a salon built at home when she closed her salon on the local high street. I used to go to a salon in the neighbouring town and pay £140 for the same thing, this was over 10 years ago now, I dread to think what they’d charge me now!

£18 for good cut, i give him the extra £2 as tip.

never had it tinted. never would.
go about 4-5 times a year.
