Or is it quite an unusual thing to have? Looking to send a “Scottish” treat along with money to English relative (teenager) for birthday. Just a little token gift to go with the money.

I'll probably get roasted for this but Mrs Tillys Scottish 'fudge' is actually one of my favourite tablets. I'm assuming she calls it fudge for marketing purposes but it's definitely tablet.

Empire biscuits were originally called German biscuits, however due to the war their name was changed to empire.

This thread made me buy a pack. Of the four there is one left. It’s been less than 24hrs since I purchased them. I can’t stop myself!
