I've no clue what to have. I really want a Chinese but don't know if I should cook instead.

Not really.. just homemade burgers in buns. With sweet potato fries and salad.

Pizza Express Pizza's and Doughballs and I've knocked up a salad (we also have some left over cheesy coleslaw)

Also homemade burgers with sweet potato wedges adding a teaspoon of chipotle paste to the mince. Yum.

Love these sort of threads. Saturday night is always an easy / treat tea for us. DH and I are sharing a m and s Indian takeaway box these are such good value they do a Chinese one too. Children are having a mix of nuggets, pizza and chips and they will pick at our curry aswell

Homemade spaghetti carbonara, baguette and begian choc cheesecake. Washed down with a glass of red. Allll the comfort food for me today.

Belgian not begian, obvs

Dteak and onion ciabatta with garlic wedges and homemade coleslaw,

Roast red pepper and tomato linguine topped with hazelnuts and pecorino cheese.

We've got cocktails and canapes, scallops with sage butter, celeriac and smoked bacon soup with soda bread, short rib of beef with red wine reduction, roasted roots with sage and maple syrup, rum pana cotta with spiced plums, coffee and mini salted caramel truffles. All cooked from scratch by the two of us. Phew!

Roast chicken with chorizo, potatos, peppers, tomatoes & onions all cooked in the same dish. It’s a bit of chopping but then just bung it in the oven so it’s nice & easy

We’ve ordered an Indian takeaway for DH and I.

Told both DD they could have whatever they wanted for dinner - dd2 chose a baked potato and dd1 chose super noodles 😂

It'll be takeout for us tonight, DH and DD heading home from a relative's birthday function, me left at home feeling sorry for myself having come down with the virus from hell brought home by other DD.

We've ordered a curry and I can't bloody wait. Child free for the night so we're in ultimate relaxation mode

We've decided to stop getting takeaways so tonight is veggie chicken goujons on a brioche bun with blue cheese and Frank's hot sauce and some wedges.

Bacon and leak pasta made with Boursin. A firm favourite of mine from the bbc good food website.
