Mine was a (very much under age) visit to the King James Wetherspoons in Cheshunt. I ordered a massive hug of woo woo. It was grim. Grin

Probably a half lager and black.

ConradKnightSocks · 11/09/2021 08:53

Anyone remember Reef?

Me! I'll also never forget how violently ill I was after drinking gallons of the stuff one night at uni. Put me off fruit juice for years after.

Think my first drink at a pub was probably malibu and coke (!) Envy

Knittingupastorm · 11/09/2021 08:53

Probably a Smirnoff ice Envy (definitely not envy!!)

MustBeThin · 11/09/2021 08:57

Cheeky Vimto - Port mixed with a bottked of Blue WKD

MayorGundersonsDogRufus · 11/09/2021 08:59

I think it was a Baileys.

RandomWordGenerator · 11/09/2021 09:01

Probably Two Dogs

cathyandclare · 11/09/2021 09:01

@hummf

Dry martini and lemonade Grin
Me too! Classy girls Grin
honeygriff · 11/09/2021 09:02

Sol that had the slice of lime in the neck. I thought it was so cool!

RosieRoww · 11/09/2021 09:05

Rum with cola- me and my 2 other friends were sipping the freaking glass whole night and were so merry and felt like a total adults.😆
We were 14 years old.

Smartiepants79 · 11/09/2021 09:06

Probably cider.
Or an archers and lemonade!

Fooshufflewickjbannanapants · 11/09/2021 09:18

Pint of Black and Tan same as my grandad 😂

HambletonSquare · 11/09/2021 09:20

@Bouncealot

Babycham
Me too. Me and my friend were underage, out for the first time with two 'rather grown up men'. We were so trying to be cool...then the drinks arrived in what was not much more than a saucer on a stick - a babycham glass!

Not a success, two giggly girls, slopping babycham everywhere. 😂

didyouseeit · 11/09/2021 09:32

Campari and soda. It sounded sophisticated but was vile

SquirryTheSquirrel · 11/09/2021 09:47

A pint of Woodpecker cider. I was 18.

Nowadays it would be real ale but back then I thought I couldn't go far wrong in an unfamiliar environment with an apple-based drink.

Nojobforoldmums · 11/09/2021 09:53

Diamond white, white lightening was for drinking in the street.

itssquidstella · 11/09/2021 09:56

Probably vodka and coke or a WKD!

When I was 14 or 15 we used to go to a pub called the Racehorse which had a room in the back for live music called the Rocking Horse. Under 18s were allowed in for music events, so we used to get random blokes to buy us vodka from the offie and smuggle it in to add to coke which we bought from the bar.

itssquidstella · 11/09/2021 09:58

@Toastytoads I loved Reef but it was lethal because it just tasted like orange juice so you could down it without realising how pissed you were getting.

Our sixth form nights out used to start in Wetherspoons - £5 for four Reefs, another £5 for four Aftershocks and you were good to go! Then we'd go to the Lounge (sticky club) and drink lime and soda. Could do a night out including kebab and taxi for under £20. Happy days.

BarkingUpTheWrongRoseBush · 11/09/2021 10:02

My brother in law, who is very straightlaced and hardly drinks ordered me a whiskey and ginger when I was 15. I still like it on occasion.

careerchangeperhaps · 11/09/2021 10:04

Archers and Lemonade. 1997

AgnesNaismith · 11/09/2021 10:05

Either Hooch or Reef

Kiduknot · 11/09/2021 10:06

Cinzano and lemonade

SirChenjins · 11/09/2021 10:07

At aged 15, Malibu and orange - a taste of the tropics

Workyticket · 11/09/2021 10:09

Vodka and fresh orange

I was 15. In a pub called Marlowes in Sunderland and shitting myself! Totally clueless so literally ordered what the girl next to us at the bar had ordered.

My friend did exactly the same thing after me. Then we stood awkwardly sipping it at the side of the dancefloor.

Giggorata · 11/09/2021 10:09

@TabbyStar

Vodka and lime. I was 14.
Me too! In a back street pub in Ramsgate. I ordered a V and L because I’d heard Elsie Tanner order it in the Rovers Return, otherwise I wouldn’t t have had a clue what to get. 🙂
HeronLanyon · 11/09/2021 10:10

Wow absolutely no idea !
Guessing it would have been a vodka and tonic but it could also have been a martini or cinzano based monstrosity. Drank that a bit until disastrous party aged around 16 and haven’t touched either since.
Oh hang on I drank southern comfort (and coke?) when v young.
Yuck ! (Although who knows perhaps I need to revisit these)
