I mean after dinner, when you're watching the tele and fancy a pick at something?

I like a little tub with tiny pickled onions and cubes of cheese in it.

I never fancy a "pick" at something. I either eat it or I don't.

So why comment then?

I'm using 'pick' as a verb for eating a snack.

Weird reply from you- why bother replying?

Jacob's cracker crisps (although I can't hear the TV through my crunching!), or KP salt & vinegar peanuts.

Usual2usual · 08/09/2021 19:31

Pretzels or bacon tuc crackers (although thats more of an 'eat whole packet in 5 mins' situation).

Fruit - usually berries or satsumas

Susannahmoody · 08/09/2021 19:34

Sliced ham, Turkey etc. Bit of cheese

Susannahmoody · 08/09/2021 19:35

My ideal would be a bowl of Alpen with full fat milk, with two slices of cold with toast with margarine on the side. But I'd be three stone heavier if I did that!

Pistachios, chilli peanuts, cashews - all the nuts. Also kettle chips and humous or those little dried corn snacks that have a couple of flavours . Lovely and crunchy. Can't remember the name
