I mean after dinner, when you're watching the tele and fancy a pick at something?

I like a little tub with tiny pickled onions and cubes of cheese in it.

@Susannahmoody

I never fancy a "pick" at something. I either eat it or I don't.

^^

Get that party started chic

I’ve not had a great day but this comment made me laugh. I never spat my tea out or anything but it was funny 😂

Ooh I didn’t expect all the responses to be for savoury foods. Chocolate for me all the way, Galaxy or Lindt preferred (although a Toffee Crisp would be acceptable too).

YellowSunshineSky · 08/09/2021 19:55

Ohhhhhhh you're all making me hungry!

I usually just eat crisps but all your snacks are much more interesting.

Am now making a 'picky bits' list for future reference.

I love stuffed olives, cheese, dark chocolate and red wine. Difficult to stop though 😕

MissMogwai · 08/09/2021 19:58

Depending on the day I've had it can range from grapes or satsumas to chilli Doritos, sweet and salty popcorn or chocolate (esp malteasers or chocolate pretzels)

Oh and wine 🍷

Rina66 · 08/09/2021 19:59

A bowl of ready salted crisps with vinegar sprinkled over them - I have to eat them quickly before they go soggy!

tigger1001 · 08/09/2021 20:00

I came on to see if there were any comments on op's word choice, and first post in!

To answer your question op it depends! Sometimes really want chocolate and other times crisps. Love plain crisps with a sour cream abs sweet chilli dip.

chocolateorangeinhaler · 08/09/2021 20:02

A bag of squishies. I know a bag af sweets are bad for you but who cares after a bad day.

BeaucoupFish · 08/09/2021 20:03

Dairylea dunkers breadsticks the Aldi version (much nicer) plus BeaucoupCat gets to share the ‘cheese’ and lick the tub out thoroughly afterwards

BonnesVacances · 08/09/2021 20:03

Costco do chocolate and caramel coated pretzels. I could eat them all day long.

doodleygirl · 08/09/2021 20:05

Salted pretzels with Philadelphia as a dip. Cubes of feta, red onion and olives with salty crackers mmmmmmm

slowtik · 08/09/2021 20:09

Monster munch and can only be pickled onion. Although after 3 bags my mouth is raw!

iklboo · 08/09/2021 20:09

Don't worry op. That poster can't pick at anything because their hands are full holding the reins of their high horse & hoiking up their judgey pants.

Garriet · 08/09/2021 20:19

Wasabi peanuts, or sunflower seeds.

ChirpyChirp · 08/09/2021 20:20

Tesco trail mix - almonds and dried fruit. Yum!

NotMyCat · 08/09/2021 20:21

The walkers sensations honey salt peanuts. Although I try not to have them in the house!
Snyders pretzels also just as addictive

DowntrainTrain · 08/09/2021 20:21

@Holshicup

Do you mean the little round ones from Tesco deli?
2 for £2 or 1 pack for £1.60?
They are very moreish and one of the few things I don’t share with Ddog😁
Absolutely lovely things!❤️

PaperDolphin · 08/09/2021 20:22

Chocolate usually, also like little mini pickled gherkins and parma ham. Any type of crisp.

shmashing · 08/09/2021 20:22

Salted popcorn.

Pistachios used to be my preferred choice but DH has an extremely inconvenient anaphylactic allergy to nuts, so we don’t have them in the house.

goose1964 · 08/09/2021 20:30

Polish pretzel sticks, bacon flavoured for preference

Shopgirl1 · 08/09/2021 20:32

Strawberries, blueberries, cut up peach - or occasionally peanuts, cashews, or wasabi nuts.
