Is it the right decision?!

UnlimitedChipsAndSalsa · 02/01/2022 08:42

@Magnited

Go for it. You decide.
@Magnited You're wondering about travelling in 2022. Keep it simple and stay domestic.

@farfallarocks

Should I leave him?
@farfallarocks Yes, you should, and you do have the strength to do it. Sorry, but no one in a healthy relationship asks that question.

@Mummacake

Will my eldest son change his views?
@Mummacake. Sorry, but he's unlikely to do so. You can't help but worry, but if you press the issue he's just going to dig his heels in more.

@SwtPeasOnEarth

Au contraire *@UnlimitedChipsAndSalsa* I celebrated UK NYE not my own, so I was in bed asleep by 9pm West coast time...no late night celebrations for me...of course, you knew that...are you just trying to be modest about your hosting skills? Xmas GrinXmas Wink
@SwtPeasOnEarth Starting off the new year cozy in bed sounds perfect to me. And, yes, I was trying to be modest. Modesty is one of my many, many wonderful qualities.

What's going on with my husband?

HelebethH · 02/01/2022 09:31

@UnlimitedChipsandSalsa
Thank you. I will get back to you on this one.
Coincidentally her mum was also born at 40 weeks and 6 days

MadameFantabulosa · 02/01/2022 09:37

Why does my Mum prefer my cousin Suzy to me and describe her as “the daughter I never had?”

Smurf1984 · 02/01/2022 10:07

Oooo Thankyou 💫💫

oneboy3girls · 02/01/2022 10:54

What is my first and middle name?

Time40 · 02/01/2022 10:55

What unusual thing have I got sitting on my desk?

A Star Wars doll

  • sort of in the right kind of area, Salsa. It's a Halloween raven, of the sort previously discussed on Mumsnet. It could be said to look quite like Darth Vader!

@mamma2babbas Didn't get enough sleep

@MadameFantabulosa

Why does my Mum prefer my cousin Suzy to me and describe her as “the daughter I never had?”
@MadameFantabulosa Because some people don't care whether they cause pain to others. A little distance could do wonders for your mental health. You do have some lovely people around you--just not your Mum, unfortunately.

@Time40 Thanks for reporting back. There was a raven in Star Wars. It just flew by briefly in a scene on Tatooine. Granted, it's not the most well-known character. Grin

Will DH non biological daughter ever have a relationship with him again? Ir should he stop trying xxxx

Time40 · 02/01/2022 11:56

@UnlimitedChipsAndSalsa

I SO wanted you to be even more right than you were, and I looked up ravens and Star Wars. Guess what:

Revan is a fictional character in the BioWare video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, in which they are the playable protagonist. They also appear in related media in the now non-canonical Star Wars Legends continuity. Revan is a former Jedi who turned to the Dark Side of the Force and became the Sith Lord Darth Revan

... also, if you look up an image of Revan .... you were spot on!

@Time40 Thanks for the research! Of course, I knew all of that, but I'm sure other readers will find it very interesting.
