I am 44, degree earn £12.80 an hour but the industry i am in although apparently valued by the government and society is very underpaid. I love my job which is why i do it. .

I'm 38 and just starting a new job on Monday it's £10.50 per hour. I'm doing this job so I can gain experience and then I can apply for an MA which will mean I will earn nearer £50 per hour.

When I was teaching I remember once me and my friend were worked out that although we were officially paid £32.50/hr, when we worked out the real number of hours we did it was something like £1.25/hr.

Varies am self employed , my 9 year old earns £40 on hour average, which is more than me.
