@Soberanne - it's not a graduate job, but all of my colleagues under 50 have at least one degree, and several have post-grad degrees. It's a very nice, fairly low-stress job which fits well around caring responsibilities and makes the world a better place (in a small way) so despite the complete lack of opportunities for career development people tend to stay in the job for a long time even if they are technically overqualified.

TeeBee · 01/08/2021 15:58

Late 40s, self employed, £70-£140 hour, depending on job.

moofolk · 01/08/2021 16:00

@MyDcAreMarvel

Varies am self employed , my 9 year old earns £40 on hour average, which is more than me.
What does your kid do?!
FuckingHateRats · 01/08/2021 16:00

I think £27?

Teachers work 195 days. I'm on £45k. If I work 8.5h a day, I think that's right...

I'm not a maths teacher, can you tell?

Approximately £12.79 an hour during the week and £17.90 if I work at the weekend.

I have just been given a temporary promotion and will be earning approximately £15.61 an hour during the week and £21.85 if I work at the weekend.

A degree is needed to do my job.

vodkaredbullgirl · 01/08/2021 16:08

DiscoDown21 · 01/08/2021 16:10

Healthcare therapeutic support role £12 ish hour a little more unsocial hours (weekends/bank hols)

WeAllHaveWings · 01/08/2021 16:10

Salaried, but works out at £22/hr for a contracted 35hr week.

That is excluding annual bonus, free shares, work pension contributions, free family healthcare, staff shop allowance etc.

But working just 35hrs a week would be nice 🤣
