I appreciate that a lot will be salary, but if you worked it out, what do you earn an hour?

I'm 24, no degree and earn £10 an hour Smile

OP posts:
SpnBaby1967 · 01/08/2021 17:09

I'm 40 (and crap at maths) but I think it works out to about £19 an hour.

insancerre · 01/08/2021 17:10

50s, degree and £11.45 an hour
Woefully underpaid for the level of responsibility I have as a nursery manager

Antinerak · 01/08/2021 17:11

£65-95, weekend/event work I charge £130
24, no degree and unrelated qualifications.

RuthTopp · 01/08/2021 17:15

Can't work as I'm a carer. Carers allowance works out at £9.65 a day. Yes a day .

JosieB68 · 01/08/2021 17:16

25 degree and about £17 per hour

NotSorry · 01/08/2021 17:16

I charge £22 for a sports lesson so I suppose I am £33 p/h but I'm not coaching 40 hours a week. Firstly because there isn't enough work for 40 hours a week and secondly because I'd die, as it is a very physical sport

cricketmum84 · 01/08/2021 17:17

£18.
Am 37, qualified with a specialist foundation degree relevant to my role.

Polmuggle · 01/08/2021 17:19

@vodkaredbullgirl

Op are you coming back, or is this a hit and run.
OP had only been gone 45 mins Grin
Ragwort · 01/08/2021 17:19

£10 ish per hour, I am early 60s, have a degree (but not needed for this job).

DesignNameChange · 01/08/2021 17:22

Early 40s, self employed design consultant in web/tech. $100, $125 or $150 an hour depending on the project. Depending on currency exchange rates that translates to £70, £90 or £110 an hour.

DesignNameChange · 01/08/2021 17:22

I also have an MFA.

Pinkandpink · 01/08/2021 17:27

48 and min wage. I enjoy my job and it’s Monday to Thursday 9-3, to fit in with my children and school. Wouldn’t be worthwhile paying for childcare on such low wages.

Alwayswonderedwhy · 01/08/2021 17:30

Between £35 - £50 per hour, self employed

BonnyBarb · 01/08/2021 17:31

About £100 p/h

Jenjenn · 01/08/2021 17:33

I am 38, postgrad degree. 33 euro per hour. Nice relaxed and flexible job too.

alila · 01/08/2021 17:34

£11.00

MouseholeCat · 01/08/2021 17:36

£36 an hour. 30 and a postgrad degree.

maddiemookins16mum · 01/08/2021 17:37

£12.50 (thanks Google). Admin supervisor (I’m 56).

HummingBeeBox · 01/08/2021 17:37

Between £10 and £25 an hour depending on the contract. Self employed so work can be sporadic. 40, degree

MrsPsmalls · 01/08/2021 17:40

When I work for the nhs £20 an hour. When I do it privately £85 an hour. Unsurprisingly the nhs find it hard to recruit.

vodkaredbullgirl · 01/08/2021 17:43

As it is their only post and 1st ever post under the name, so yes a hit and run.

IHateCoronavirus · 01/08/2021 17:45

£28p/h officially. In reality the hours I work mean I get very little per hour. I also find a lot of the resources! Hmm

ItWasntMyFault · 01/08/2021 17:48

£19.49 - 52, no degree

kowari · 01/08/2021 17:48

37, degree but not in relevant employment, £10 an hour

Imapotato · 01/08/2021 17:51

£11 per hour.

36, in the middle of doing a degree to become qualified in my field. Once I qualify earn more. At present I pretty much do the job of a qualified member of staff, I just don’t get paid as much. But then they are paying for my degree, so can’t complain.
