There’s always something I forget! Our car is all packed for the off tomorrow but it feels like I’ve forgotten something.

years ago mum forgot to pack dads underpants. Instead, he wore a pair of mums large pants all week. I remember her saying she was so worried in case he was worried to the hospital because he was wearing ladies pants!

Dh left our car keys (for our car at Heathrow) in our villa in Portugal - he gets really stressed packing to go anywhere and does a sweep of one room then ushers everyone out and checks the next room and so on until we are all stood on the doorstep waiting for him.
But he’s really shit at it Grin This one time I was reminding him to check his top drawer and he just told me he had it all under control.
Arrived back at the airport and he had a sudden epiphany that he’d left everything (money, keys, can’t remember what else) in the top drawer 😂. Idiot!
He was about to say that I had put him off when I had mentioned it but as he opened his mouth I told him to accept his decisions to not actually let me help him do the one last check and to suck up his stupid mistake.
Had to get the train home. Luckily we had a spare car key anyway and our neighbours have a spare house key so we could get in.

Well my teen daughter has forgotten to put the tent poles and pegs into the tent bag that we have brought with us to,drop, off, later this week.

She is,going to a festival not far from our holiday location. We've brought the tent for her as she had friends are flying down. Text tells me she has found the poles and pegs at home.

At least she found them now rather than discovering they are missing when then try to pitch the tent next week.
May well have to now pay from extra hold luggage though!

My son's left shoe. Instead, I bought two right-foot shoes in two different sizes.

What age was he? Some children wouldn't notice 😂

My in-laws left my DH at a Spanish airport when he was 5....they got on a bus to the resort and after it left the airport they realised he wasn't with them. He was found by a member of staff standing at the luggage carousel watching the luggage going round and round
