Only got myself to feed and will have to go to the shop for something. Bit stuck for inspo/don't really know what I fancy. Can't be bothered with anything too convoluted today.

I'm thinking about spinach and ricotta tortellini, in pesto (which I have in the fridge and needs using) with bread and aioli (which I also have) but I just had that the other day. I also have a limp romaine lettuce and red pepper in the fridge too. Theres some cucumber and red onion in there as well.

A sort of pho thing with slow cooked lamb knuckles and lots of chilli oil. Nicer than it sounds!

Nice, I love a salad.

Avocado, tomato, cucumber, red onion and coriander is my favourite.

Chicken and red pepper quesadillas with corn on the cob

Butterfly a chicken breast and marinate in a mix or tandoori paste, fat free yoghurt, Nigella seeds and mango chutney.
Make a dressing for natural yoghurt, mint and cucumber.
Grill your chicken along with some chunks of mango. Add mango to a salad made from your lettuce, cucumber and red onion. Serve along side the chicken. And drizzle over the yoghurt dressing. If you want to add a carb on the side ( I don’t think it needs it) a naan or flat bread bread would work well.

Roast gammon with a honey mustard sauce and cranberry jelly, roast potatoes; broccoli and honeyed carrots.

I was reading the Christmas buffet thread and am now obsessed with winter food. [looks outside at blazing sun]

Oooh I love coriander in a salad...red onion, cucumber, rocket, coriander and tomato - lovely!

Dust....

Pasta and chicken - plain, in a huge bowl on the table.

Along with salad, feta, mozzarella, DF cheese, Mayo, defrosted home made tomato sauce - then me and DC can make the pasta as we like it.

Garlic bread on the side too.

Put/submerge your lettuce in a bowl of cold water to revive it.

WhiteHorse92 · 26/07/2021 15:02

I have some left over chorizo and pork chipolatas from weekend breakfast/lunch so I'm thinking of finding a recipe for some kind of spicy sausage pasta bake. I have a tin of chopped tomatoes and a red pepper so I'm sure I can make something delicious (hopefully).

GalaxyGirl24 · 26/07/2021 15:11

Made a big batch of lentil and potato curry - gonna have it with rice today and TMZ. Frozen a bit for the baby as well before I added the salt (it's food prep week!)
