Have no where else for our animals, our grazing licence expired Oct 2020 but the BHS legal helpline said stay put as it has turned into a common law tenancy as we have been there for 3-4 years and have maintained the land. What should we do? Any lawyers please?

This seems to have turned into a bully the OP thread. Not cool.

Calling someone out on what appears to be a fairy tale isn't bullying. Do you believe that someone on here (who lives close to the OP) has offered her a free field and a totally different poster (who lives close to the OP) has offered her the use of a lorry?

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/07/2021 11:10

Wow, a couple of offers and one of them being a field that is miraculously nearer your flat?

Fancy that!

daisypond · 25/07/2021 12:45

There’s no mention of a free field, though. Or a free lorry to transport the animals.

drpet49 · 25/07/2021 14:00

Fairytale thread

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/07/2021 15:46

@daisypond yes there is

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/07/2021 15:47

Thanks to you lot I will listen and move them before we get a court judgement (we have shetland ponies, and 2 donkeys). A very lovely poster on here through a PM has offered us the use of her horse lorry and another has some land where they can go which is actually nearer to my flat than the original field

whataboutbob · 25/07/2021 15:50

Quite possibly not BillandBen but the repeated mocking and dressing down she is getting is just not nice. She’s in a tight corner ( probably at least partly of her making, not disputing that), it was right to point out where her beliefs are plain wrong and suggest the most realistic course of action at this stage. Beyond that, no need to keep on with the sarcasm and laughing emojis. But that’s just my opinion.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/07/2021 15:55

Questioning the OP's miraculous good fortune isn't bullying.

whataboutbob · 25/07/2021 16:06

What if she’s a vulnerable soul who is trying to save face? No need to rub her nose in it.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 25/07/2021 16:12

Oh please Grin

SD1978 · 25/07/2021 16:14

Need the post moved to,legal, but the fact you stopped paying any lease since October I doubt is going to go well for you.

21Bee · 25/07/2021 16:51

@Mantlemoose the ban did not cover grazing licences. I’d imagine the landlord has been as understand as they can and have had enough now.

Billandben444 · 25/07/2021 16:56

What if she’s a vulnerable soul who is trying to save face? No need to rub her nose in it.

It would be unwise to post on MN if this is the case.

tallduckandhandsome · 25/07/2021 20:33

@rantymcrantface66

Not just one person either, two and yet another who is not just local but knew telepathically that OP needed transport for her animals. Given the number of DM comments, I'm still of the mind that it's either all invented just for the claim to fame or that OP is indeed a bored DM journalist herself struggling for stories ( the latter more likely if it does appear).

Oh yeah i forgot it’s not just the one offer 😂
