That doesn't involve standing over the oven? I'm melting in my office and not looking forward to cooking tea later...

We are having a (premade) goats cheese and roasted red pepper quiche with salad tonight. Tomorrow is (I'd usually have this for weekend breakfast), smoked salmon and cream cheese on toasted bagels.

I've made up some meatballs, in the vague hope of a cooler day to put with some tagliatelle.

I just need some nice fresh cold white wine.

That quiche sounds lovely - do you use the ‘crumbly’ goat cheese and roast the peppers first.

Salad with Moroccan lamb kebabs

What my husband calls Singapore chilli con carne. It visually resembles chilli con carne and there is chilli in it, but that’s where it stops.

If you wait long enough to cook dinner, everyone will eat cereal.

At this point, I'm barracking for take out. Sod this for a game of soldiers.

Pizza shop by me buy one get one free by us on a Tuesday so got that delivered and done a salad. Enough for tom too for dh and DS. I had ham with my salad and trying to be be good.

OH wanted new potatoes and peas with the cold meats , he was told that was not on the menu 😅😅

We have had linguine, smoked salmon and Boursin cheese (melted with splash of milk to make a pasta sauce) took 11 mins !

Quiche and salad

Tonight we had blackened salmon with avocado & mango salsa & potato rosti
I love this dinner but you can only cook the salmon outside (hob on the bbq) because cooking it indoors is like being teargassed by the fumes from the blackening spices

We've had sandwiches & a Solero for afters.

I’m doing exactly the same as *@ODFOx* (which has freaked me out a bit!) - have visitors for tea.

I'd never made it before. Definitely making it again! The lemon, oregano and garlic combo was so good! I hope you enjoyed yours too!

Quinoa and salmon salad from the Wagamama book.

@ODFOx - I did it in the slow cooker yesterday, and then finished it off in the oven for half an hour with roasted new rosemary spuds, tablooleh, hummous, flatbreads, tzazitki and a Greek salad (but I forgot to put the feta on!). It was blooming lovely, guests loved it, and there's leftovers :-D Glad you enjoyed yours too!

Pork and apple burgers in buns, raw veg sticks and pasta salad for the kids. Lamb kofta, SW fries and sald for DH. Still too hot.

Spaghetti bolognese. 😋

Toad in the hole, peas and gravy.

Once that is cooked, turning the oven down to cook a banana and apricot cake because the bananas need using up and I’m a fool...

Take away for us tonight ,,sod cooking it's too hot!
