Just for fun. What words do your children prounce wrong. My dd used to to say happy c%#tmas instead of happy Christmas. Ds kept saying pull the slag . Turned out he meant pull the tag.

My DD currently shouts loudly for BOOBIES.

She means blueberries.

DS1 used to say pushion instead of cushion and my favourite of DS2’s was amimals. DH was always correcting them as he was worried they’d never learn the right words and go off to uni saying pushion etc. Obviously that didn’t happen

Middle ds used to say ham sampy (sandwich) and the Simpers (Simpsons)! How on earth he knew about the Simpers, aged 3, I have no idea

My son used to say cue-competer for a computer and heli-cock-tacker for helicopter.

We had fadder, mudder and brudder for years. It was adorable.

DD using to pronounce 'fork and knife' so that it sounded like she was saying 'fucking knife'.
We quickly taught her to say 'knife and fork' instead

My 3 yr old son says woof instead of wolf, so the bug bad woof etc. Makes me melt.

DS2 used to say nipples for dimples. I remember on a bus him bellowing “Do I have nipples mummy? Can you see my nipples? On my face?”.

Also I had a bemusing conversation with the same child who told me he wanted “party snails” and I had promised him “party snails” like his friend Isobel - he meant “party nails”, Isobel’s were red and sparkly.
