Morning all! What are you all up to today?

I'm just having a cuppa...with dd1 who has got up surprisingly early for a Saturday morning Shock. Dd2's still sleeping (I think).

We're off to town shortly for some bits for their dad's birthday & a few other things.

There's one load of washing to be done & the house is fairly clean and tidy so not much planned for when we get in. I'll probably finish the last 3 rows of dd2's blanket before adding a border & the girls will most likely Minecraft.

Sweet chilli beef for tea, with a vegetable stir fry and noodles. Turkey unicorns for dd2. Accompanied by a glass of wine for me Wine

Stared watching Virgin River. Love it! Coffee in hand, washing on, gonna clean the car in and out. Go for a walk, steak for dinner. Nice leisurely day

Currently having cuppa whilst DCs play around me. Oldest DC made breakfast for the youngest for the first time ever, so I had a 10 minute extra snooze 😁

I’m meeting my friends in one of their garden for cocktails today. First time in forever, we’ve had 2 big birthdays and some bereavements so it’s long overdue! DH will be taking DCs to a birthday party and their activities.

I am having my eldest grandson come to stay for the weekend. He hasn’t stayed for a few months and I am really looking forward to it 😁

I'm sat with the 2 year old DD trying to think of something fun we can do today. Her dads out helping a friend with some gardening and the weathers looking a bit pants. I'm struggling to think of anything interesting!

Having 1st coffee of the day while ds2 is playing Minecraft. Ds1/Dd still sleeping thankfully!

Me and DH making a Greek feast later, food the whole family likes! , So will pop into town to get stuff for that.

This afternoon will be washing, cleaning etc while DH takes the kids for a swim at the local beach.

Hopefully will have time to catch up on reading my new JoJo Moyes book I've just bought.

Just having a second cup of tea before deciding what to do. DS2 is isolating so PS4 and cricket in the garden for him - although he might not have a ball left to bat at. He uses tennis balls so as not to smash windows but neighbours have stopped throwing them back which feels a bit mean as they know he is isolating….DS1 still in bed watching YouTube and DH out walking the dog. Lazy day I think- might venture out for a walk with non isolating child at some point.

I'm currently in bed after being awake half the night, dp is gone to work and when he comes home we are going to the next town to do some shopping. Need to buy new kitchen bins and he needs new boots 🤣🤣

Up, did some yoga, had a cuppa and watered the flowers. Have a huge pimple and am going out for a lunch with glam people (and I usually look like Worzel Gummage at the best of time). Not looking forward to tales of all their exciting lockdown lives while ‘I sat at home and worked my arse off’

Taking DS to the Megastore at a football stadium to buy the new season shirt with his birthday money while DH is at work. Steak for dinner later.

Kids are playing upstairs.. DH still asleep. I've put a wash on and done the dishwasher ..
Booked a soft play for tomorrow morning.
It's another rainy day, so having another cup of tea and MNetting for a bit.

morning!

I got woken up by my youngest because he had a toenail emergency that just couldn't wait.

today, Matthew, I'm gonna be resting.
I have a stinking cold, a sore throat and a throbbing headache & had another long, tiring week so just need a break.
DH is more than capable of being in charge so I don't have to do a thing!

Well, I need to finish washing & sorting blankets for WH, but the last 3 were washed last night so they just need drying.
then it's staying in bed, watching Scrubs and letting my kids bring me cups of tea.

Just had coffee and porridge and I'm trying to motivate myself to start work. I'm watching the empty man which I'm struggling to follow because I'm also browsing here 😁

My sons are still asleep and I don't expect to see them before noon. My husband is having coffee and then he's got to go to the dump, post some stuff for me and buy a load of red delicious apples.

Cor. It's an exciting life. A thrill a minute. It's ok to be jealous, people. Anyone would be. 🤣

Struggling for inspiration here. It’s raining, I have work/laundry to do, DH and the DC are pretty “meh” at the thought of another supposedly summer weekend passing when they’d rather be playing tennis or at the beach!

Going to make another coffee I think and hope that ideas hit me…

Getting ready for a car boot sale tomorrow, car needs a clean on the inside and bits and pieces need doing in the garden. Took too much food out of the freezer, left it out to defrost and now need to work out what to do with it before it goes off!

Just been watching Virgin River and about to have a cup of tea. DD is going down to London to meet friends for the day. Collecting a new bed and a new table. Going to have pancakes, yoghurt and blueberries for breakfast.

Morning Smile

Still in bed but already had a coffee.

Chill out day today. Going to go to the garden centre for a couple of pots then down the beach with the dog and DH.

This afternoon will be making blackberry cobbler and some blueberry scones.

DH will make curry for tea whilst I have a bath.

Reading Matt Haig The Midnight Library, which I'm loving and hoping to get finished today.

I've just been making korvapuusti (cinnamon buns) with my mum (parents have come to visit for a few weeks), waiting for my uncle and my little cousins to arrive for a brief visit. Shall make a cup of tea once mum has finished washing up. DD is just sat on the sofa, waiting, and DS is playing worms on the switch. OH has gone to work for some reason, probably so he won't be here when my little cousins arrive as they are wild. Dad is napping.

Hmm not much! I'm isolating and have terrible sciatica so I'm a bit miserable. We've pretty much run out of food so it will be a bit interesting to see what I can cobble together today!

Not a lot! Quite relieved to have a quiet weekend planned, I've definitely got endoftermitis 😴

So a bit of teenage son taxi service and a shopping delivery later, that's about it!
