I'm just having a cuppa...with dd1 who has got up surprisingly early for a Saturday morning . Dd2's still sleeping (I think).

We're off to town shortly for some bits for their dad's birthday & a few other things.

There's one load of washing to be done & the house is fairly clean and tidy so not much planned for when we get in. I'll probably finish the last 3 rows of dd2's blanket before adding a border & the girls will most likely Minecraft.

Sweet chilli beef for tea, with a vegetable stir fry and noodles. Turkey unicorns for dd2. Accompanied by a glass of wine for me

Well rugby tots ans rugby training is over for the day.

My husband has gone off to get a Phil Foden hair cut, so he’ll look like a poundland version of Eminem.

Later we’re going to have a few friends over for beers and board games.

Up around 6 this morning and feeling like a big wet bag of shite.
Back to bed at 9ish for a couple of hours, up again and washing machine loaded, dog walked and shortly going out to buy some floor tiles for our new kitchen.
I had a good result booking a hotel.
DD and I are going to Coventry in September to see a concert. I decided that it’s about time I actually got my finger out and did something.
The hotel I was looking at has virtually doubled in price so I checked out the one right next door to the venue.
One hotel site had it for £167, another had it for £72.
Me and my girl are staying at the Hilton Doubletree

DD1 is doing a Brownie activity weekend, today it is on zoom and tomorrow it is at a camp site. There was a zoom meeting this morning, then she has activities to do before another zoom later. She also has homework to do. Both DDs are currently watching tv. We have made pizza muffins and they are in the oven. A local shop that sells random bits of tat is having a closing down sale. DDs persuaded me to take them, they were literally giving things away. I am working a night shift tonight. DDs will be having a movie night with DH. We are getting a take-away of their choice as a reward for their school reports.

It’s DD1s 13th birthday today, but me, DD2 and DD3 are ill.

So instead of going to the cinema to see Black Widow, I got it via Disney Plus.

We had birthday cake for breakfast.

We have KFC being delivered, being as Nando’s aren’t delivering today and frankly I cba to cook.

We’re blowing up an insane amount of balloons.

She wants to finish watching the last season of Modern Family after lunch; I think there’s maybe 6 episodes left.

Video call with family at 6pm.

And she wants breakfast for dinner, so that’ll be more carby goodness.

I'm feeling rubbish stinking cold and sore throat. Ds2 is self isolating as his best friend has COVID I've already PCR tested and negative taking ds2 tonight.
I'm going to try and potter in the garden later.

Back from my little shopping trip, and NOBODY rang me to ask when I was going to be home the entire time :O I have a bag of goodies, I am going to tidy my Wardrobe up now and have a nice rest :)

Been to visit my parents with DS and DH and it was lovely! Just got back, and DH has decided he’s going to cook tonight which is great for me who’s 8 months pregnant. DS is playing with his toys in front of me and in a minute I’ll go wash his hair and get him ready for bed etc - bedtime takes ages with 3 year olds it seems!

I'm never up this early, not even on a weekday but I had a nasty migraine yesterday so painkillers knocked me out by 9pm (I never sleep before midnight!).
headache's gone but I'm shattered so will try & nap later.

today I'm washing a fresh batch of blankets for WH, it will be a great distraction until 8pm⚽️

DS2 is having his birthday party from 4pm, I'm so happy that all his mates are able to come - one was supposed to work past kick off but his boss lets him go home early. aww!

so we'll have BBQ before the game then Come On England!⚽️👣🏠🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤

There's only me awake here, atm. I'm hoping I get to drink my cuppa in silence this time!

I need to iron dd1's school shirts, bake for the week, and help dd2 to make a card for her teacher. She leaves primary school on Friday. I'm going to miss her class. I work at the same school & have been in their "bubble" all year so leaving after lunch on Friday will be strange.

I didn't get the last few rows of blanket done so I'll do that this afternoon & remove the shoulder pads from a top a picked up yesterday for a whole pound!

Football here too, tonight. Maybe a takeaway pizza while we watch.

Littlest Zinglet is also leaving primary! 16 years of going there with all of them, 8 days to go. very weird indeed.

it's his birthday next Sunday so although it's been organised we'll do birthday invites for kids' sake, must must do this today!

I also need to sort school run schedule and weekly plan (my Bullet Journal is still going strong) - very complicated & busy week coming up and I have to be on top focusing form.
looking forward to the 21st where the youngest 3 break up, DS2& DS3 have already finished and DS4 has last day on Friday.

It's a very strange feeling, isn't it!? Dd2 still has the little taggy blanket you sent years ago, it tucks up some of her littlest bears these days 😊

Morning!
We're all getting ready to go to an outdoor market today. Right after that we're going to my sisters house (well just outside it) to drop off some chicken broth and biriyani. She and her 4 children have had covid which they are recovering from but as we're visiting their town today, I cooked some food for them and will drop it off at their door.
I really hope it doesn't rain today.

I set off home at 6.30am but had a stomach upset on the way back 2 minutes from home

So I have one wash on but need to do another after that. Then I wanted to put my duvet through, after a few hours hard core washing I'll head back to the centre probably about 11am and cook crab risotto later and watch the footie.

I have a nice cup of tea with honey so that's good enough for me after the trauma of getting caught without a toilet

Just got up, kids have been playing playstation and it's time to get breakfast on and have that 1st cuppa of the day 🫖☕
Got some washing to put away and soft play is booked for 11.30am.
Back for lunch and to watch Bransons space trip at 2pm 🚀

I’m away walking by myself.

I’m going to have a nice long walk and maybe a swim on the way. Then I’m meeting my DF for supper.

Yesterday - we went into town to find football shirts for the kids. Got home and they played for a bit, did some colouring then we went on a long walk. I did some stuff in the garden too. Bbq chicken and mash for tea.

Today - I need to nip into work and fetch something. Then we'll nip Sainsburys and pick up some bits. My friends popping up so I can do her a quick favour then its making a roast dinner. Football tonight with a cheese board!

Oh and that reminds me, I have promised to paint the children’s nails red and white (well, silver) and to get creative with face paint/fabric pens. They’re very excited

My third wash is nearly done so after that I can set off for the centre again. I've left my bank card, phone charger and make up bag there. I really don't feel like crab risotto for the footie tonight, may just have a hot dog

Sleeping. I just got home from my night shift.
So, getting up from this chair, hanging the washing out, going to sleep, getting up this afternoon, washing up, cooking dinner, (fuck, just realised DC1 didn't do her homework yesterday), dinner time, washing DCs' hair, getting ready and going to work.

Going to the shops and for coffee soon. I've been self-isolating in a small flat for the last six days; now I've got my freedom back I need food and things. Laundry already done but drying inside as rain is forecast.

Im having a quiet tea and toast and watching a bit of telly
