And I don’t know what to do. It has not sunk in yet and I only know it happened at work around noon.
I don’t know if there is anyone up to talk to I just feel I need some human contact

So so sorry. You loved each other very much. You sound like me and my husband, a proper no nonsense Yorkshire couple. Thinking of you both xx

It most certainly was the Coliseum! 😀[/quote]
Sending you lots of love and best wishes vickibee from a fellow ex Coliseum goer
Do you remember the “classy” laser show they used to start the evening with? Did you ever walk into the big mirrored wall on the end upstairs in Main Street when drunk?

HannaHat · 06/07/2021 08:29

I am so sorry for your loss.
The coroner's officer will be the person who will communicate with you and let you know when you can make funeral arrangements. They are usually very kind, helpful people.
We had my son's funeral 4 weeks after his sudden death because it happened over a bank holiday and there had to be a PM and the police were involved.
In the event, it was a good thing because it gave me time and space to deal with everything and plan what we wanted. Take your time. Friends and family will want to help and support you.

Maybe ask for this thread to be moved to the bereavement board so that you can come back to it in future?

LadyPenelope68 · 06/07/2021 08:38

@Hoppinggreen
Those lasers were classy …… for Halifax!

Did you ever walk into the big mirrored wall on the end upstairs in Main Street when drunk?
Noooooo, never …… ever ……..often 😁

@vickibee
As others have said, definitely contact Winston’s Wish, they have some really good information. Also, contact the school as they will be able to offer pastoral support for your son. But also, take care of yourself as well x

Footle · 06/07/2021 08:41

So sorry for your loss. 🌸
My ds2 who's profoundly deaf and autistic found his Dadda dead in bed twenty years ago this Thursday. It had a massive affect on his behaviour and we had huge help from Winstons Wish...

I'm so sorry to read this. Your husband sounds like a wonderful man. I'm sure right now the pain is too great, but in time all those wonderful memories will be some comfort to you.
I hope your son is ok, would a visit from a friend offer him some support maybe?
Thinking of you both x

MegaClutterSlut · 06/07/2021 09:21
