Anyone had Pfizer and no impact on periods? I’m worried

I have bad anxiety and have stupidly read a thread about periods changing with the vaccine. Has anyone had Pfizer and all been fine? Both jabs?

I've had moderna and not noticed any difference

NichyNoo · 03/07/2021 10:31

Both Pfizer jabs and no impact on periods. Don’t know anyone who’s periods have been affected (other than reading about it on MN).

Umberellatheweatha · 03/07/2021 10:32

I was worried too but my first Pfizer one has had no impact.

Phizer and no impact on periods here.

ThePontiacBandit · 03/07/2021 10:34

Both Pfizer, not seen any real difference (I have Endo and it’s getting worse but it was before the jabs).

Katefoster · 03/07/2021 10:36

My first one no. Second I was my in TWW so my period never arrived as I was pregnant.

TraveyChapman · 03/07/2021 10:38

Thank you!!!

No difference to me.
I’m on HRT but still have periods. Did make my night sweats return a bit though.

October2020 · 03/07/2021 10:39

No issues whatsoever and I don't know anyone in real life that has had any problems. Like lots of things on here, it appears to be a mumsnet thing.

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 03/07/2021 10:39

I had my first pfizer recently and was so anxious about this as I'm in perimenopause and that is already more than I can take.
Everything was the same as it has been in recent months.

BergamotandLime · 03/07/2021 10:40

Double jabbed since March and no impact.

iusedtohavechickens · 03/07/2021 10:40

Double jabbed and no issues x

elQuintoConyo · 03/07/2021 10:41

Double dosed here, no side effects other than a sore arm for a couple of days. Periods fine.

Tbh I'd rather have wonky periods than covid, but I'm not child-bearing age, so I wouldn't necessarily be worried about random dates or type of flow.

Louise241989 · 03/07/2021 10:41

Double jabbed since April and zero impact and I monitor very closely as trying for a baby, not noticed anything.

QuentinBunbury · 03/07/2021 10:44

travey I posted on the other thread but just wanted to reassure you. I had AZ firstly which seems to be the jab that causes issue. But also although my periods are wonky now it's not scary or alarming - just a nuisance because I'm usually regular. Please don't worry and go and get the jab. Getting covid would be much more of a problem than any possible side effects and everyone I know who had Pfizer hasn't had any side effects at all.
Sorry the other thread worried you so much Flowers

Umberellatheweatha · 03/07/2021 10:44

More likely just to be the stress that does it. Hakuna matata and itll all be fine.

MythicalBiologicalFennel · 03/07/2021 10:45

Double-jabbed, no side effects and no impact on periods. All the best OP

coastergirl · 03/07/2021 10:47

No issues at all.

LindaEllen · 03/07/2021 10:57

Even if it does affect your periods it's not a problem. It'll just be a bit late (and then possibly a bit heavier because it's a bit late).

Your periods can be affected by a significant immune response - mine was 10 days late after strep throat around the time of ovulation and I was convinced I was pregnant, but definitely wasn't. The covid jab creates a huge immune response, but things will get back to normal with your next cycle.

gurglebelly · 03/07/2021 11:01

Has both jabs (Pfizer) and no impact on periods at all. Was talking about this with some girlfriends and none of them have had issues either

Quartz2208 · 03/07/2021 11:02

Yes I agree with LindaEllen the times I have been really ill (flu/pleurisy/chicken pox) my periods have been affected it an immune response can do that

I have noticed the last two I have had to be slightly heavier than normal since the jab but had there not been a report on it wouldn’t have noticed!

littlepieces · 03/07/2021 11:03

Double jabbed and no impact on my periods. I had my second jab while I was on my period actually and later developed worse cramps than usual, but I think that was related to side effects of the vaccine and feeling generally a bit unwell afterwards.

BillyIsMyBunny · 03/07/2021 11:03

I’ve had two Pfizer and haven’t noticed any significant or obvious changes.

Trying365 · 03/07/2021 11:04

No issues here for me after two Pfizer. Was discussing it with several friends, none of them seen any change either. 🤷‍♀️

Quaggars · 03/07/2021 11:05

I've had Pfizer a couple of months ago (first jab) and and theres been no change at all, everything still the same
