Anyone had Pfizer and no impact on periods? I’m worried

I have bad anxiety and have stupidly read a thread about periods changing with the vaccine. Has anyone had Pfizer and all been fine? Both jabs?

I’ve had both jabs (first in January) as I work for NHS and I’ve noticed no changes. I am waiting for gynae appointment and have been since last august so covid hasn’t impacted them - though they were impacted pre covid.

DuzzyFuck · 03/07/2021 11:13

Both Pzier here and no discernible impact at all.

Bovrilly · 03/07/2021 11:17

Yes, me.

I had it. One heavier than usual period, then back to normal. Whether it was even related to the vaccine I have no idea, there’s lots of other things it could be - I quite often get a bad period if I’m ill. Regardless, it was an absolutely trivial issue and nothing to worry about.

BlankieBops · 03/07/2021 11:24

No issues here!

SingingInTheShithouse · 03/07/2021 11:33

DD had Pfizer & barely any side effects & definitely no affect on her periods. A few friends had it too & same

lobsterkiller · 03/07/2021 11:35

My first period after my first AZ jab was a bit heavier than usual, slight cramps when i usually have none. Returned to normal after. The second jab no issues at all.

SingingInTheShithouse · 03/07/2021 11:35

I had AZ & reacted so badly to it I have to have GP input to find out if it's safe to have my second jab. Still waiting. I'd have much rather had Pfizer as DH was fine on it too

OhWhyNot · 03/07/2021 11:43

I had Pfizer and there has been no impact in my periods

My periods are heavier than usual but I believe that to be peri menopausal though still as regular as clockwork

HerbErtlinger · 03/07/2021 11:49

Double jabbed (Pfizer) no issues

Justgettingbye · 03/07/2021 11:52

I had period issues linked to the patch when I had the jab but it's not made it worse or anything

littlemissalwaystired · 03/07/2021 11:55

Both Pfizer and no impact on periods

Dartsplayer · 03/07/2021 12:12

Double jabbed and no issues here

TiggeryBear · 03/07/2021 12:14

Had 1st dose of the Pfizer. My period arrived 1 week earlier than usual 🤷‍♀️ I'm not worried, these things happen. It was a pretty standard period otherwise though.

warmfluffytowels · 03/07/2021 12:14

I've had my first Pfizer jab and no issues with my periods at all.

Thirstquenching · 03/07/2021 12:25

One gab no change

HunterAngel · 03/07/2021 14:05

Both Pfizer and no impact

Carycy · 03/07/2021 14:07

Both jabs. No impact on my periods. Regular periods, not on any contraception and no change.

GingerbreadZinc · 03/07/2021 21:21

Nope, mine haven't changed at all.

Literaryseed · 03/07/2021 21:46

No impact on mine after Pfizer. After having covid my period came 6 days early.

claireymrsd · 03/07/2021 22:21

Pfizer, both jabs (second in April) - no change to mr periods at all

RiaOverTheRainbow · 03/07/2021 22:30

I've had my first jab, no difference at all.

user0985238 · 03/07/2021 22:36

None at all.

I can't remember where I saw the video (BBC or Guardian website perhaps?), some researcher was saying that women quite often have 1 or 2 irregular periods after a vaccination (eg flu, HPV vaccines as well as Covid) before going back to normal. This is because there's a relationship between the immune system and your hormones apparently. It doesn't affect fertility. It was really reassuring and interesting.

Chipsahoy · 03/07/2021 22:44

No impact here. I’ve had the first jab.

ipodtherforipoor · 03/07/2021 22:45

Had my Pfizer in jan and March. As regular as ever and still not as pregnant as ever.
