Really nice drinks that aren't alcoholic

What are your favourite non alcoholic drinks that you look forward to having?

I'm looking for alternatives to alcohol but something a bit more special than just plain tea, coffee, water or juice/squash/fizzy soft drinks.

I used to have a lovely bedtime tea that I had when my youngest was a baby but just the smell of it now gives me palpitations with the association of sleepless nights!!

Martini Vibrante and fever tree tonic. A very grown up non alcoholic drink.

Snowdrop30 · 26/06/2021 08:13

Ooh, my kind of thread! Left Field Kombucha (the green tea one is my favourite), Three Spirits, Crossip, Ferragaia, Seedlip 'Garden' and tonic. I still love a 'treat' drink (or 2) at the end of the day. Have yet to find a palatable alcohol free beer.

I had the loveliest mocktail a few weeks ago. It was lemonade with apple juice and a kind of strawberry syrup with lots of crushed ice. It was probably full of sugar but it was soooo refreshing

colouringindoors · 26/06/2021 11:12

Fever tree tonics

Fever tree sodas esp Raspberry and Rose

Robinson's cordials with fizzy water esp Lime and Mint, Raspberry and orange blossom

SapatSea · 26/06/2021 11:13

Belvoir cordials are good. The Elderflower one and the Blackcurrant and blueberry are my favourites. I like the ginger one in winter too (I have it hot)

Bottlegreen ginger and lemongrass presse

Pearbear · 26/06/2021 11:17

Rubicon cherry and raspberry drink is my go to drink

groundcontroltomontydon · 26/06/2021 11:46

I find that the names of most fruit/herb teas write cheques that the taste can't cash but Good Earth hibiscus, rose and sweet berries tea is lovely - it's a fabulous deep pink colour, smells like roses and tastes a bit like cranberries

Franticbutterfly · 26/06/2021 13:07

@longtompot I haven't (yet Wink), is it nice?

TokyoSushi · 26/06/2021 13:08

Fevertree Sicilian lemonade

ChaToilLeam · 26/06/2021 13:12

I like the Fever Tree tonics, and the Siegfried fake gin. Have only ever found one low alcohol beer that I like, and that’s the Hänsla from the Schlenkerla brewery - has a smoky taste, but probably not too easy to get hold of!

inappropriateraspberry · 26/06/2021 13:21

Lidl do a nice peach squash, I love elderflower drinks and have just finished a bottle of Schweppes pink soda. All lovely drinks!

MunsterThyme · 26/06/2021 13:46

I don’t drink alcohol and my favourite drinks other than tea/coffee/water:

Flavoured tonic water with lots of ice & lemon/lime.

Virgin sangria. I use non alcoholic red wine (vile on its own!) with Fever Tree blood orange tonic and lots of fresh citrus fruits chopped up. Good for bbqs & picnics when everyone else is having wine or Pimms.

Iced water with mint leaves (I take this to work to have in between mainlining coffee Grin).

Fenton and rose lemonade diluted with sparkling water and some slightly crushed raspberries.

I also make my own iced tea with herbal tea cooled down, crushed ice and a bit of honey. Lemon & ginger tea bags are great for this.

MunsterThyme · 26/06/2021 13:47

Fenton = Fentiman’s

Arrierttyclock · 26/06/2021 14:03

This with sparkling water tastes like a mojito it's amazing.

Cawston press Rhubarb. I dilute it mostly with fizzy water

Good call - that’s lovely. The rhubarb one is the nicest but harder to get than the other flavours in my area.

Some brilliant suggestions here thank you!!

It is, more refreshing in an elderflower cordial kind of way, rather than the tartness of the Vibrante. It wasn't one I was keen on trying but ended up finishing it first!

LysistrataVickers · 26/06/2021 17:43

Currently drinking this which is really nice.

Fresh juices where they are thick and more of a puree; asda do a passionfruit one that's gorgeous. Non alcoholic cocktails and spritzers.

Abzs · 26/06/2021 18:39

Cairn O Mohr do very nice sparkling elderflower and a sparkling elderberry.
