Apparently not using the entire individual hotel mini tub of marmalade to cover 2 slices of toast is "weird".
I like toast with a SMALL amount of marmalade - this makes me odd it seems

Not me, but I was shocked to see someone I know open a two finger kit kat and take a bite across both fingers, rather than snapping it into two separate fingers and eating one then the other.

Obviously, I had to clutch my pearls tightly.

Amdone123 · 21/06/2021 17:47

We got a new mop bucket the other day, much to the excitement of my dh.
He showed me how to do it. ( I'm a cleaner).

Not to sure off hand, but intrigued with the responses

Though my dd dog earing books leaves me feeling a bit faint.

Especially books from my old childhood that I’ve given to her that have gone all these years being pristine…ish.. and she goes and dog ears them Sad

ImFree2doasiwant · 21/06/2021 17:49

Blowing my nose.

Coldbit · 21/06/2021 17:50

Loading the dishwasher according to STBXH. He’d tut loudly then make a big show of rearranging the items ‘correctly’.

00100001 · 21/06/2021 17:51

Apparently I was spreading butter wrong (according to DS who was 6 at the time)

HumunaHey · 21/06/2021 17:53

When I was a waitress, an older waitress used to always tell me off for putting the table cloths on "upside down". I didn't give a shit and you couldn't tell in dim lighting (how we catered events). I started putting them on upside down just to wind her up.

Hellocatshome · 21/06/2021 17:54

According to DH I sleep wrong. Apparently all my arms and legs either have to be inside or outside of the duvet I cant mix and match.

Borka · 21/06/2021 17:56

I got told by another customer in the supermarket that I was lifting up the packs of chicken breasts too roughly.

FourTurnings · 21/06/2021 17:57

To be fair that is quite shocking backforgood

I'd probably end a friendship over that sort of behaviour, they are clearly showing you they are a monster. Grin

I was 'told off' once by a passerby for closing a friends gate wrong. I still to this day have no idea what the wrong way to close it is or why this complete stranger felt so disgusted at me doing it wrong they felt the need to comment.

Mymapuddlington · 21/06/2021 17:58

Apparently I hiccup wrong. I don’t mind weird/unusual but wrong? It’s not like I have a choice!

MrsJackRackham · 21/06/2021 17:58

My dad used to say I shopped wrong. Rather than start at the front at the fruit and veg I go to the last aisle and work my way back. That way the fruit and veg don't get squished at the bottom of the trolley. Makes perfect sense to me.
Wrong apparently Blush

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 21/06/2021 18:00

peeling boiled eggs

Mrsjayy · 21/06/2021 18:01

I’ve never thought of that but that’s actually a good idea!
iklboo · 21/06/2021 18:01

At primary school my cousin was told off (and rapped on the head with knuckles by the teacher for 'writing his O the wrong way round'.

Meredithisgrey · 21/06/2021 18:02

I was told I cooking onions wrong. They were literally just cooking to put on top of burgers, not burning. Just cooking on a low heat.

Thecomfortador · 21/06/2021 18:02

Apparently I don't sneeze properly. I should let it rip more instead of sneezing quietly.

Also I was told off once for not opening one of those little celebration chocolates properly. The rippy bit hadn't actually worked so I pulled both ends to stretch the wrapping and tear it open. Not appropriate for my friend who thought saw fit to pull me up on such behaviour.

I've been told this too! Apparently I blow it 'too hard'???
FourTurnings · 21/06/2021 18:03

My ex taught me that I did all of the following wrong -

Wipe down worktops
Use a towel after brushing my teeth
Chop potatoes for a curry
Iron a shirt
Put a duvet cover on
Drive the car
Talk on the phone
Walk (I ‘walk funny’)
Read a map (not quickly enough)

I would like to reassure everyone that my performance in most of these life skills has improved vastly since my divorce 😀

FamBae · 21/06/2021 18:05

1st week of a new job & I was severely told I shouldn't use a whole sticky label but should cut them into three.

Good lord! That's sent me all funny. You need to keep your eye on them @BackforGood they're obviously a bad 'un!
