Can anyone explain my new Bush cooker to me?

I don't understand it
It's a double oven but I think (?) the grill is in the main oven, but the instructions say to use temperature at max for it but that's a different knob.
Every time I try to cook a pie, ready made, the top burns.
What is going on?

How many knows are there?
One is normally for the function e.g. oven, grill, fan oven, etc and then you have one for the temperature. If you have it set to grill when you want the oven then the tops of things will burn

Can you post a picture of the controls?

Heat the pie in the main oven

I put the grill on yesterday and it came on in the bottom oven but there is no way to control the temperature. On the instructions it says the first knob is to set the grill oven thermostat but it just put the top oven on when I used it.

The pie is in the main oven but is still burning on top

I have no idea if the top oven has a grill, but thats where they usually are I thought?

What temperature did you set the oven at for the pie? The instructions don't seem very clear

Can you stick your head in each to see what heating elements there are?

180, it needs to be very low in the actual oven by the looks if it, but I dont understand why the tops of things are burning so quickly the higher up in the oven it is. Surely the heat dhould be all around it.
I did grill potato waffles yesterday but in the main oven and it says on the door to grill with it shut.

The icon with the wavy lines on top are the grill surely?

It is, so is its normal to have it in the main oven? I can't figure out how to change the temperature of the grill.

I personally wouldn't try to cook my bush but each to their own.

Where it says grill oven does that mean its not an actual grill? Is a grill oven a smaller oven?
