Having a discussion about the friends characters and who was the best so decided to ask on here everyone’s opinions.

While I'm here I'll just add that I hated Chandler and Monica together, he should have got together with Janice, she should have married Richard, and Phoebe should have married David after running Emily over in the taxi.
Loved Frank Jnr and the Gellers. I also have a huge soft spot for Estelle.

The question needs to be classified. Which Friend was the best at... what? A lot of the silliest slapstick was with Ross in the lead. Chandler was the best awkward lover, joey the dopiest friend, phoebe was perhaps the fullest character (all of them were quite narrow), Monica irritated the hell out of me, and Rachel, for me at the time, was just the easy love interest but a little dull. I love friends, I loved how it made me lol every week, like Frasier used to, but the show worked as an ensemble, the individuals on their own wouldn't have made the show.

Mike is of course the best non-main character.

Matt Le Blanc is by far my favourite in real life and Courtney Cox is pretty good too in Instagram.

It’s funny that Joey starts out being portrayed as this ‘love em and leave em’ lothario, but is pretty much the nicest of the bunch from day one. I can’t think of any terrible behaviour moments, which I can for all the others.

When he fell in love with Rachel 😭😭😭

3. Phoebe. For her laugh.
4. Joey. Warm hearted
5. Monica. Everyone needs a Monica around but they arent v fun
6. Ross. Controlling, jealous, bad dad. Shame as actually the guy that plays him does a grand job.

It’s chandlers face when he hears her laugh in later years that cracks me up 😊😊 I love the episode where he tells her he’s moving to Yemen and she made it difficult for him 😂

Yes- Janice is one of my favourites. And today I realised how funny Susan was- so sarcastic to Ross!
