Sussexes and bullying campaign

Hi everyone !

Does anyone find the constant bullying of the Sussexes to affect their mental health ?

I find the mainstream misogyny to be a reflection of how society really does view women as a whole and how othering it is of people of other cultures.

I think baby Lilibet would be very sad to know the world received her with such strong opinions against her naming. It’s really sad that the world so full of hate doesn’t provide a nice place for kids to grow confidently.

I feel like if this happens in a powerful royal family, what’s there to hope in your average family!

Btw I have in law issues and I find the attitudes towards the sussexes triggering and upsetting

That's not exactly how I heard it (recollections may vary Wink).

How could knauf have given a letter that was in Thomas Markles possession to anyone? I'm pretty sure Thomas fully admits to giving the Letter to the press.

He says he only made the letter public after MMs friends referred to it in the press. He states it's all lies, that he did try to call but they didn't answer.

My view is neither (none) of them is being completely honest and fault lies on both sides

It's a matter of public record (court transcript) that Meghan gave him a copy of the letter for him to read and give advice on, before she sent it to her dad.

At the very least, it's dodgy as fuck that the Palace forced someone who'd been best friends since uni with a tabloid editor who openly loathes Meghan, onto Meghan, as her press advisor!

At the very least, he clearly did a pretty shit job at his actual stated jobs, which were protecting Meghan from the press, and managing Thomas Markle and his relationship with the press.

At the very least, it's reasonable to ask questions as to how someone with dubious links to tabloids, with a long history of fucking up their job and stabbing their boss in the back, wound up instantly leap frogging into the very top job with the Cambridges.

Leaks happen all the time, it's just that there is rarely anything this juicy to leak, so bigger the fuss, the more leaky the bucket gets.

Most leaks come from people outside the Royal Household, tbh.

Knauf wrote that email way before it was leaked though. It seems probable that there were some issues with staff at the time. Knauf is not the only person to have mentioned her treatment of staff, the email was kept quiet right up until they did the interview. I don't doubt that it was leaked on purpose at that time, but I don't think we can write it off as a lie because of that.

My feeling is that Knauf didn't like her because she treated the staff poorly (In his opinion) and when they started saying less than complementary things about the RF, he decided to address the balance.

I don't think he was acting on behalf of anyone, but why then is he not sacked for it? Hmmm....

He may well have done a shit job, I don't know, but whoever is supposed to be looking after her now doesn't seem to be doing any better tbh.

I think you need a hobby op, or is this it?

He either has been or he's resigned. That was announced a while back.

Ahh okay, that makes more sense. Thanks.
