Sussexes and bullying campaign

Hi everyone !

Does anyone find the constant bullying of the Sussexes to affect their mental health ?

I find the mainstream misogyny to be a reflection of how society really does view women as a whole and how othering it is of people of other cultures.

I think baby Lilibet would be very sad to know the world received her with such strong opinions against her naming. It’s really sad that the world so full of hate doesn’t provide a nice place for kids to grow confidently.

I feel like if this happens in a powerful royal family, what’s there to hope in your average family!

Btw I have in law issues and I find the attitudes towards the sussexes triggering and upsetting

"Seem Stupid" is not the same as calling someone stupid. I KNOW you're not stupid Rousette, that's why I'm kind of disappointed. So far everything I've read from you has been reasonable, even if I don't agree with you. You've been courteous and open to conversation, until today. Full on twisting of words is not like you.

I have no idea how I'm twisting words. I accept however, you meant just OLD friends, and not all friends, and I apologise if I've jumped on that.

Save your sympathy OP for people who are struggling with life but do not have the huge resources of the Sussexes to help them cope.

People who cope with poverty and health issues but who don't live in mansions with access to the best healthcare on the planet and a team of staff.

If the Sussexes are triggering for you then counselling could be a good way forward.

To find the truth, you have to listen to all sides, various opinions, read between the lines, etc , etc , when I see someone talk about something I am not aware of I will question it. That is how I work.

I don't hate anyone and I point blank refuse to be team anyone. It's never that black and white. No one is perfect not Meghan, not HMTQ.

The truth will not be that one side holds ALL the responsibility for this shit show. That much I do know.

So basically the friend dumped and ghosted Meghan, not the other way around? Then sold her out to the press years later? I doubt they were ever "best friends" since it's obvious who her real childhood friends were (and still are), and it's pretty obvious from reading some of the stories that self-professed "friend" sold that she was obsessed with Meghan's husband. It's not normal to react so angrily to a couple you have no relation to deciding to get divorced.

Both her former husband and her former husband's mother have said nothing but nice, positive things about Meghan. I strongly doubt the posting rings story.

I don't doubt that anyone marrying in to the RF, and I include Sophie and Kate in this, have to shed a few old friends. Probably because they can't be trusted !

I've been reading some other sites recently on this topic. It has shone a whole new light on the kinds of crazy things people say about MM. I admit she doesn't come across to me as the kind of person I would be friends with, but some of the truly insane stuff I've read about her is just wow!

I have to say the story her ex-best friend tells is quite damning. And, to me, didn't seem vindictive, although she was probably getting paid for her story, she did say a lot of positive things about MM too?

It's so hard to know what's truth and what's BS. I can't do it based on who I like most.

A tabloid journalist known to be friends with Carole Middleton and known to be sympathetic towards Kate is the one who leaked the story about Meghan and Kate having an argument at the dress fitting, a private conversation that could only have been leaked by someone either in the palace or close to them. How else would the tabloids have found out about a private conversation?

Someone leaked the news of Harry and Meghan's plan to leave, forcing their hand. Who?

It's pretty obvious that people are leaking. Otherwise how would the tabloids even know half this stuff?
