Orange ice lollies always make me feel better after a day drinking.

Looking at the bottle I only had about 2 inches from the bottle but I feel like I had about 10 pints of snakebite.

God I'm getting old.

Being in the sun makes it so much worse!

Sounds like dehydration. My recommendation would be a slush puppy. The more lurid the colour, the better.

Cheese and ham toastie, rehydration sachet, and iced tea has not fixed me.

2 paracetamol and 2 ibuprofen; pint or two of squash (if it’s got sugar in it all the better) and some nice sweet carbs to eat. Then try and sleep it off if you can!!

Drinking in the sun definitely enhances the after effects.

I wondered why I was hungover the other weekend, as DH only poured me one gin. I checked the bottle and loads was gone! But I had rose syruup in it do couldn't tell.

Make him use measurers now.

Omelette (the brownier the better); tomatoes; pickles; bread/toast/salty crackers; only one ibuprofen and avoid paracetamol; hydration (drink water, take showers); sleep.

2 inches from the bottle? That couldn't possibly be a hangover surely.

Full fat Coke and a bacon sandwich for next time. I also take a painkiller with the first drink as daytime drinking kills me.

Why is that? Gordon's has become less popular in recent years with the release of about a trillion different gins but its triple distilled and a good quality spirit and there is absolutely no reason why a shot of Gordon's (which is what 2 inches from the bottle is, a double shot) would make you any more ill that a small batch gin you paid £50 for.

Depends how wide the bottle is! A fat bottle, 2 inch is a lot.

Lots and lots of orange lucozade, a gregs sausage roll and 2 ibuprofen will see you to lunchtime. Then a disgusting, fatty, carby lunch like fish and chips or pizza. Then a cup of tea and a nap.

It would need to be a pretty wide bottle for me to get a hangover from 2 inches
