My Dad told me when he was blind drunk that he thinks his brother's oldest son is his. My Mum knew, too, but she's dead now so I am the only one who knows. I am no contact with my Dad since her death (he's a nasty bastard), and my Aunt, whose son may be my half-brother, has been an absolute bitch because I don't speak to my Dad. I could literally drop a bomb on that side of the family, as revenge for putting up with decades of bullying from them, but I wouldn't and won't. Unlike them, i'm a decent person.

I’ve always felt I wasn’t my father’s. My parents split up then suddenly got back together I was on the way.

smudgemylife · 08/06/2021 14:42

My grandma left her country in the dead of the night with her daughter (my mum) and another man (not mums biological dad) to go to the UK.
Mum always assumed that her mother didn't know who her father was, and didn't like to ask and cause upset.

Doing my family tree I have found that grandma was actually married to my mums father, and left behind not only her husband but twins who were 3years old at the time!

I have never mentioned it to anyone and don't intend to ever ask grandma about it. I can't imagine what caused that decision or the pain she must have gone through.

I did some bad opportunistic crime about twenty five years ago.

Wait, you haven't told your mum that she has siblings? Was your mum the baby when she left?
smudgemylife · 08/06/2021 14:51

@PixieDust28 yes, mum was the baby so would have siblings.
I wouldn't be able to tell her as grandma is still very much alive and well. If she wanted her to know, then it is her place to tell her.
I do know that my mum would not react well to that information at all.
I wish I never knew, it's taught me not to go poking my nose into genealogy anymore.

Nicecupofteaandacake · 08/06/2021 16:49

Oooh place marking!

e2namechanger · 08/06/2021 16:52

My cousin sexually abused me so I cut up all his clothes, put drawing pins in his shoes and set fire to his precious comics. Not a single soul knows.

Bargebill19 · 08/06/2021 17:00

When moving mil I helped clear out a few things. Discovered a used butt plug. Not enough bleach in the world. ..

Bargebill19 · 08/06/2021 18:39

It is intensely irritating that my Dh tells me stuff as ‘new’ conversation, when only days before, I had tried to have the exact same conversation with him, and been dismissed if no interest whatsoever to him.
Harbouring thoughts of murder.

I regularly let the air out of people's tires, if they are rude to me.

Mumoftwo2021 · 08/06/2021 19:00

@Seafog 😂 love this idea!

I was once told by a drunk relative of my ex that their nana & family think she’s being buried in the family grave but she isn’t. The Shhh will hit the fan when she passes away!

VouisLuitton · 08/06/2021 19:00

I served up food at a dinner party that I had dropped on the floor Blush

trevthecat · 08/06/2021 19:03

@bargebill19 are we married to the same man?!

Bargebill19 · 08/06/2021 19:31

@trevthecat
If you will be my witness, I’ll be yours to say we were nowhere near that freshly laid patio…..

Hawkins001 · 08/06/2021 19:52

Not a secret as such, but I haven't a foggest about who my biological farther is, he did a runner before I was born. Some times I do wonder about what ifs, and what possibilities that could of been. Although I like to think, I turned out ok, sometimes I wonder if I would of been better had he been arround.

I really don't want to be a MN nag, but this is really dangerous.
tabitharose · 08/06/2021 20:15

This is truly awful, and I'll never forgive myself. I often worry I'll get dementia and blurt it out.

I hit my two year old stepson. Three times.

He doesn't seem to remember thank god and we have a fantastic relationship now.

ofcourseanamechange · 08/06/2021 20:19

I often hate my husband, who has a small penis ( although I don't hate him because of this) I want to have an affair, I work with one of the 'tapas 7'

RandomCatGenerator · 08/06/2021 20:23

Tapas 7?

ofcourseanamechange · 08/06/2021 20:25

Didn't you know he had a small penis before you married him?
ofcourseanamechange · 08/06/2021 20:32

Lalafafa, of course, it's not micro, just smaller than average!

Whysolong7 · 08/06/2021 20:36

@ofcourseanamechange what are your thoughts on the other 6?

Have you thought of leaving the DH?
